Condition of the book:I had to buy it twice cause the first copy arrived all dirty (with shoe marks on it…). The second one wasn't in perfect condition either but kept it anyway.The book:Empire of the Vampire is hands down one of the best books I have ever read. I cannot believe how much I love it!The imagery is incredibly vivid but most of what it renders is dark, grotesque: blood, violence and death. This is not a happy ending book!The story is gripping, fast-paced, with many plot twists, and the main character is so perfect in his imperfections that it is hard to put the book down. Brilliant!I now own several editions of the book and bought it also on AudibleI never would have thought that I'd love a vampire book so much!

I am so frigging goddamnn happy with this book 😭. It's been ages since I have had my hands around an adult fantasy paperback that's floppyyyy!! My soul is singing and I have been blessed.This is a Trade paperback version, which means, it's fairly big in size and the font is bigger also, it's floppy! Get it if you can before they run out of print and start releasing the brick paperbacks that are so stiff you can't even open them.Super happy with this!
