Gorilla101819 Decoupage Gloss, Clear, 1 Pack

I was hesitant to buy this product, but I was looking for something to replace dishwasher safe Mod Podge. I bought this because I was making DIY mugs that I painted on using acrylic markers. I read a few other reviews saying it peels, but I bought it anyways. I applied two THIN coats of this decoupage, letting it dry for over half an hour in between. After that, the mug was left to dry for 24 hours. Once the time was up, I checked up on them and it left a tacky, slightly streaky feel and look. I used my nail gently and started scratching at the mug, which ended up peeling off a chunk of the decoupage. Thank goodness I only tested it on one of the mugs I designed because I ended up not using it. Even though I personally did not like it for sealing mugs, I feel like this will work well for sealing puzzles and jewel art, or protecting my paintings. I know it can also be used as an adhesive as well, so I will definitely make use of this product. Be aware that the bottle is a lot smaller than the photo shows- I was surprised. Make sure to look at the ounces before you purchase this. Overall, I’m looking forward to try it on other art projects!

Horrible - is not glossy or clear. Peels right off if wet. Followed instructions and website instructions and it ruined projects! I let it dry for two days and it still did this. Might work ok on wood or paper but does not work on glass at all!

I bought this to apply a clear coat to some of my art projects. The first one I coated, remained sticky for days.I applied it according to their directions, & can not think of anything I did wrong, but after several days of waiting for it to stop being sticky, I gave up & spray coated it with clear spray paint.Too bad, as I've used other brands of Decoupage, and liked it. This brand, or at least my bottle of it, did not work well at all. It was clear, but it never stopped being sticky, so what's the point?
