It had moved around in the box a little but not bad. It came with a ribbon around the tin which was great because I was gifting it. It was fresh and my son loved it. It also came here from Turkey way ahead of the date they promised.

Price is a bit high, but really high quality turkish delights with good bit if variety in box. Almost all of them are filled with nuts, pieces are large. Gulluoglu company is originated from Gaziantep which is the top city in Turkey in terms of culinary heritage, so you could trust most food coming from that region. There are so many turkish delights you can find in market especially in arabic stores in America, most of them are crap, and they ruin the reputation of the turkish delights, this one is closer that they should be

They were packaged very well but when I opened the tin they were not in a neat little row like the pictures. They are exceptionally good and fresh so that makes up for it and why I'm not giving the full stars. I definitely recommend with a strong cup of coffee, turkish coffee or espresso.

These are definitely a level above from the turkish delights I was finding on amazon. These are the real deal. Like being at a turkish market and sampling the varieties of tasty delights. Worth the moderately higher cost. You get big satisfying pieces, no skimping on nuts, a cool metal box and these are flown in straight from turkey fresh and delicious.

Absolutely scrumptious! Ever since I was about seven years old and watched the Lion Witch and the Wardrobe on VHS I have been dreaming of tasting the exotic flavors of such a treat. I chose the Gulluoglu brand after some research and could not be happier! The flavors of fruit and nuts are vivid while the sugar is subtly sweet to tickle that sweet-tooth without being overbearing on the palate.They pair well with cardamom coffee to balance out the sweet tickle with a bitter and spice bite!It was a wonderful experience to allow my senses to take me from my home to Istanbul for a moment in time. These delights are very much recommended for those seeking an adventure in tasting something new, or even those familiar with the flavors who wish for a great, flavorful experience.The freshness within the tin is amazing! I swear these feel and taste like they just came off the line at the factory. The tin itself was twice sealed-- -They taped the edges of the tin thoroughly before vacuum sealing the entire thing and wrapping it in a layer of bubble wrap. Nothing was going to let the freshness fade from these delights!This is certainly something I will purchase again and even look for a new journey of flavor from Gulluoglu to taste in the future. Many of their products look wonderful and after trying these Turkish Delights I am eager to sample more!

My entire life I have been looking for the Turkish Delight spoken of by C.S. Lewis. The infamously delicious candy that Edmund was willing to sell out his entire family for. I simply never thought that scene was remotely believable…. until now.This is a completely different dessert than any Turkish delight I have ever tried. Quality is impeccable, so many textures and flavors packed into one little slice. I don’t even know what the flavors are, but they are all incredible!I hardly ever even leave reviews, but I couldn’t help it this time. If you, like me, want to understand poor Edmund’s fateful decision a little better - this will surely help. It’s also packaged beautifully with a bow, perfect for a special get together or as a gift. Large, generous, pieces.The price seems incredibly fair for what you get. In America we are used to cheap, subsidized food. This is authentic and well made.

The tin box itself is giftable, but it is sealed with a terrible (old, cheap, dry, sticky) adhesive tape, which took ages to remove piece by piece. The sweets look attractive and authentic. I have never seen anything like that before. So, it was curious. But a bit too sweet. Some have unpleasant sub-taste (the orange ones). I would say, it is worth to taste them once in your lifetime, but I would not buy it again. Expensive too. One $ a piece at least.
