BLAUPUNKTAMP4000D AMP4000D 4,000-Watt-Max Monoblock Class D Amp with Bass Remote

Great price on a quality amp, delivers clear input response along with a couple of very nice examples of well thought out design. The screws for the power input and output are angled inwards and have a deep space perfect for bare 4awg wire giving a much neater and more snug/solid fit than 90° screws with clamps. The remote gain control also works very well and comes with an appropriate length cable to fit vans and suvs. I saw the questioning of power in other reviews, it's able to bottom out my 1000w rms sub so it more than achieved what I was looking for, especially for under $100 from a manufacturer of Porsche radios, amps, and speakers

I purchased this for my son to use after he burnt up my Memphis Audio Monoblock Amp. It was a budget replacement that has outlasted the amp it replaced for a fraction of the cost. The included bass knob is a nice accessory to allow you to quickly adjust your levels when needed. The amp itself did run hot until we added a 12v fan under the center of the amp buy mounting the amp to the box with risers. This avoided thermal cutouts and has made the amp reliable and hard hitting. It is wired to 12" Hyanka subs and provide exceptional punch for the price.

At first I was a little skeptical about this amp , saw a couple of reviews before I purchase it , no many reviews by the way, but seems to have good reviews after all, so I decided to give it a shot and so far I’m impressed, nice, smooth and deep bass , no too bad for the price, this is a decent amp considering that they could have built it with better material, but don’t ask for better quality when it’s a pretty cheap amp, that’s is why I give it 4 stars , I honestly recommend it !🤙🏼

It's not 4000 watts but it did push 2 sundown audio 12's. I don't think I had enough truck space so the amp would over heat. If my trunk was bigger or I had better air flow I think this amp would blow my speakers.

0/2 repopped junk. first amp would come on and shut off sound when it felt like it so i exchanged for a different one that delivered no sound at all even though the power light indicated it had power.it is not my connections or the brand because i was replacing a smaller blaupunkt i had for over a year that has run flawlessly. i was just trying to up the amps over the smaller one. just avoid this model. you would think that from the actual brand as the seller anything remanufactured would be far more trustworthy. nope.

For $86 with shipping, get it… No it is NOT 4000w or even close. Find the dyno videos online, you’ll see 1200w or so at 1ohm. But for the price, that’s really not bad power… I have it paired with a Skar 12 and the BUMPS!!! IF it lasts 2 years, I’ll be happy. %100 all the time otherwise what’s the point??!!??

Watched videos that tested the actual RMS output of this amp (D4000) and it does 400 RMS @ 4ohms, 700 RMS @ 2ohms, and 1000 RMS @ 1ohm. If it could do the RMS that Blaupunkt advertises, it would require bigger wire than the 4awg it recommends. That said, I haven't had any problems with this amp so far, it's a solid amp that hits hard enough for my 2 12's to rattle the windows. I haven't experienced any overheating, but I haven't run it for any longer than 25 minutes at a time.

so far the rms power rating is acurate, if you know what your looking at. the only negative is the control knob that comes with it, despite being metal and feeling sturdy it did not function at all.
