It's a retro style. The size of the clock is very small it's exactly same size of my alarm clock or smaller than my palm.

Great clock. Looks nice. Arrived early and in good condition even though the weight broke free on one end it was still secured on the other so no damage. Love hearing it tic toc as I drift off to sleep. Chimes only once a hour and the bell is pleasant sounding.

Veramente bello da vedere! Essendo aperto si possono vedere tutti gli ingranaggi meccanici in funzione, per il prezzo pagato ha superato le mie aspettative. Sembra abbastanza solido, le istruzioni sono in tedesco/inglese. Veramente di buona fattura, dovete però disporre di una parete completamente libera perché pendolo più catena per il contrappeso sono alti 1,80 m circa. Installarlo e avviarlo è semplicissimo, il rintocco ogni ora non è forte, infatti l' ho messo in camera e ho dormito tranquillamente. L' imballo era molto curato, arrivato cinque giorni in anticipo. Consiglio fortemente l' acquisto a chi ama orologi meccanici ed ha pochi soldi da spendere!

Received a prime delivery in 2 days. The clock was well packed and easy to prepare for use. It hangs from 1 screw/wall plug and needs at least 5ft 6 ins of space below for the weight chain to drop down. The pendulum swing is about 6 ins wide. The tick is very subdued and the hourly ping of the bell is unobtrusive. I think the clock (I chose a black one) is very attractive and seems to be accurate set as received. It is nice that it runs for 8 days or so before needing winding by pulling the weight chain. I recommend it.

I've always wanted a mechanical clock since I was a child. I've looked at grandfather clocks on and off over my adult life but have never wanted to spend the money on one. I stumbled across this clock while I was looking for a new wall clock to put in my man cave and decided that if I was ever going to get a mechanical clock then this will be the one. I really like the look, feel and sound of it. It is very solid and except for the porcelain face is all metal. It did take me about a month of tinkering with it to get the time keeping very close to accurate. I got it to about 15 seconds a week slow which is close enough for me. The tick tock is fairly loud when compared to regular cheap wall clocks. At first the tick tock bothered me when I was watching movies or TV so I would stop the clock while watching TV. After a few months I don't even notice the tick tock anymore while watching TV so I don't stop it anymore. At first it was hard to see where the hands was on the clock from my chair but also after a few months I can now see where they are at. It is a very nice clock. It just takes some time to set and get used to. Update: After 5 years I have the clock so perfect on time that I only have to correct it about twice a year. It usually occurs in the start and end of winter so I wonder if it's due to the temperature affecting the clock. It runs all year long non stop. Definitely recommend.
