Got these for some random Chinese GPS devices which were ublox-based.They worked great and provide NTP-based apps with microsecond accuracy.

Much better signal than the GPS unit that came with my Android head unit. Cheap to buy, and it's magnetic so easy to mount

Bought to use with an Android car head unit. Works great and slim enough to be mounted on top of the instrument cluster below the dashboard out of sight.

Sits on the dash and does exactly what it should

Its a tiny but chunky unit that has a magnetic base. The module is 38mm x 46mm x 11mm thick and a mere 47g. The cable comes out of the 38mm side with a little seal on the cable. This is an Active Antenna which can handle up to 66 acquisitioms and 22 simultaneous tracking channels at the GPS broadcast frequency of 1575.42MHz (VSWR 2:01), 5MHz Bandwidth and 50 Ohm impeadance. The LNA provides 2.7dB gain (measured without the cable), and a NF of less than 1.5dB. The design has an interferrence Supression of 20dB (f0 +/- 140MHz). Power is via the coax of either 3.0V +/- 300mV or 5.0V +/- 500mV. The LNA consumes less than 20mA. Nicely fitted with 3m of RG175 cable with SMA male. This is fantastic and easy to install and fii on a vehicle or other application. I used it as the time signal feed for our network atomic clocks at work. Great use of this little antenna.
