Many batches later, still performing as it should.
Most chocolate makers say this is a great product for table top chocolate making...bean to bar. I agree. I've made several batches without any issues. If you are into to craft chocolate making, this is a great starter tool. Hour after hour operation without any problems.

Good machine
We've used the tilting refiner about 6 times now, and it works great. Seems well made, and runs continueously without issue. This seems to be the lowest price melanger on the market, and a good value in our opinion. The "easy to clean" thing is relative... cleaning it up after a batch of chocolate will take awhile... but it's not the machine's fault! I would recommend the tilting model, even though we don't use the tilt, as it has a higher capacity. We would definitely buy another one, and are very happy with our choice.

Runs smooth & strong for larger test batches of chocolate
This is the second tilting chocolate Melanger QLL has purchased. The first one (2018) still runs perfect; this second one was purchased as back up. At first this new one had a high-pitched whine - for over 24 hours, but has evidently adjusted itself and now runs smooth and strong like the first motor; for larger test batches of chocolate which process 2 - 3 days at a stretch... Can take it easily.

High Quality, Well Crafted Machine.
This is a high quality product that is designed for processing chocolate. My primary use for this stone grinder is making nut butters, and it does an outstanding job. It runs cool, is relatively quiet while operating, and the finished product is as smooth as silk. The instruction manual is clear and concise. Very satisfied with this well crafted machine. Also, before I purchased the machine, I called customer support with a few questions. They were most helpful.

First batch of chocolate looks great!
So far, I have nothing but good things to say about this device. I was a tad concerned about the quality of these wet stone grinder machines in general, because there seems to be a lot of negativity about them floating around. Only time will tell concerning how durable this thing is, but it does seem to be very powerful. They suggest cleaning it with some oil or some sugar before using it. But make sure not to mix oil in with dry powder while its running or it could seize up. The rollers also had a bit of a squeak to them at first, but that went away after I cleaned it with oil instead of sugar. First batch of chocolate is almost done, and it doesn't get hot, doesn't smell like ozone, and it doesn't seem to be straining itself at all! I will caution you though, once you start grinding the material, don't shut it off. Because as soon as that mass starts getting wet with semisolid oil, it will solidify pretty quickly if it stops moving. If that happens, it will stick, and wont have enough momentum to get back going again. Which is super bad for the motor. I have found that using a heat tool or a hair dryer over it every now and then will help to keep things nice and liquid.

Nothing but love
Started my chocolate journey with this machine. Very well built and easy to use with beyond expectation results. Lastly the tilt option first thought of as a convenience is more of a necessity.

Awesome machine, larger capacity
Ordering our second one now. We have been selling our chocolate almost as fast as we can make it and need a second unit! Love the one we have. The tilt function is useful for unloading and the larger capacity (10 lb versus 8lb) over the non-tilting model ensured that the tilting model is the one we want! Does a great job at refining chocolate and producing a top notch, smooth product.

After purchasing this a few months ago I have to say the Premier Tilting Chocolate Refiner is an absolutely fantastic product. First of all, it is very well built. I’ve made several batches of chocolate, running the machine on average of 20 to 24 hours without issue. The website and manual they provide online are very helpful and the recipes provided are a good place to start. I’ve wanted one of these units for years now and I am very happy I purchased this. If you are interested in learning how to make real chocolate at home in small batches, I would highly recommend the Premier Tilting Chocolate Refiner!!! Cheers

Very good machine, so happy with the purchase. We have made chocolate with it 3 times, left it running for around 24h each time without issue. It is not super loud, it becomes kind of a white noise after a while. Also tried making peanut butter and managed to make a very good one with it. I can highly recommend it.
