13.5" vs. 14" lasagna pan?
Comparison of Cuisinart Chef's Classic 13.5" vs. 14" Lasagna Pans: I viewed both, but was unable to discern any differences (other than the obvious 1/2" difference in length). I preferred this slightly more compact size, and it was $28 w/ free 2 day shipping (!), so I ordered this 13.5" pan. It arrived the next day. This 13.5" pan is stunning! Definitely high-shine mirror finish, both inside & out. Pan feels VERY sturdy, but not heavy. No way this pan will flex, bend nor buckle when you fill it to capacity, and maneuver it into/out of oven. It really feels 200% perfect- Sturdy, but light to medium weight- easy to handle and carry.Dimensions (both inside & outside) of pan:Length: 13.5" inside / 14" outside (including the exterior drip ledge of pan), AND 17.25" TOTAL- when measured from outside edges of handle to handle.Width: 9.25" inside / 10" outside (including the exterior drip ledge).Height: 2.5" inside pan (food capacity) / 3" exterior measurement (from countertop to top ledge of pan). So, note that the smallest oven you could possibly use this pan in, must be a MINIMUM of 17 1/2 inches wide, to fit 17.25" exterior width (including handles, which protrude sideways from the pan). Now, here's the ONE major difference between this 13.5" and the similar 14" lasagna pan (other than 1/2" in length): The handles on this 13.5" pan are solid stainless / tubular- Very sturdy, riveted into pan, and with "Cuisinart" engraved into the metal. View the photo closely, you will see the perfectly tubular shaped handles.Alternatively, the 14" pan has the wider, flattened handles which are EXACTLY the same as the rest of the Cuisinart Chef's Classic collection.Other details:1) "Cuisinart" is subtly imprinted on one side of this pan.2) Heat Sources- The outer box states that it is oven safe to 550 degrees (F), and that it may be used in oven, under broiler, or on stovetop with Gas, Electric, Glass Ceramic, and/or Halogen heat sources.3) Seams- This 13.5" pan is seamless. Not so with the 14" pan- Other reviewers have stated that it is seamed, and that there are resultant performance problems with black residue continuously oozing out of the pan, making it impossible to clean, and presumably compromising it's core.4) Looks- Brilliant! Can be used in oven, on range-top, and/or as serving presentation piece. Indeed it is STUNNING!5) Price- This 13.5" pan, at the low price of $28/Free ship, is a STEAL of a DEAL!Summary- I have the entire Chef's Classic Stainless cookware collection. While I might have preferred the flatter, exactly matching handles on the 14" pan, my preference for a slightly smaller pan outweighed that concern... And, $28 is plenty to spend on a basic, 100% stainless steel, small lasagna pan! I'm thrilled with this pan! I may even end up using it to display candles, ornaments, serve hors d'oevres in, or just mini-pizza's, loaded nacho's, snacks/etc! It's SO beautiful! I expect it will clean up to perfection, easily, just like the rest of my Cuisinart Chef's Classic Stainless Steel cookware- Which I've had for over a decade, and it still looks new! BUY THIS WHILE YOU CAN GET IT!

A good roast pan versus lasagna pan
I loved the product because it's a great roast pan for a two person meal. It's easy to clean, and does not have that rim that water gets in and rusts the pan from inside out so I can throw it in the dishwasher without issues. I can see why people did not like this as a lasagna pan because it's not very deep for American style lasagna, but it is great for everything else.

Size is different from description, finish came off rivets after first use but still a good pan
The pan came and was exactly what we wanted, a deep dish 9 x 13 pan approx 3 inches deep, not the dimensions given in the description but was what we expected. I was slightly disappointed when after the first use there was spots on the rivets where the finish was worn off. I waited for a couple of months and used the pan a few more times before leaving this review so I could see if the rivets would rust. I am happy to report that so far there is no rust and the only spots where the finish has come off is on the rivets. The pan does have minor staining and some scratches where we cut the lasagna but the pan is holding up well and there is no rust, which is good. You can see in the pictures I provided the rivets, stains and some scratches. Still a great pan.

Perfect Pan
Strong and solid quality, this mirror finish beauty is the perfect size for me (I'm petite); the substantial riveted handles are easy to grasp and slide the pan from the oven racks without much fuss. It is also is a dream to clean in hot sudsy water...I bought it to make my family's favorite, buttery Spanakopita during Thanksgiving weekend and nothing stuck. I know it will make an excellent roasting pan for meat or poultry, or use for my eggplant lasagne, or for any use one can think of. Guess I adore the idea even more because its size does not take up inordinate cabinet space in my challenged kitchen. And what a bargain!!!!!

Best Lasagna Pan I've Bought And I've Bought Plenty!!!
Classic Lasagna Pan. Right size. Right composition to heat evenly and melt those cheeses and sauces up into a gourmet delight. I bought this pan strictly for making lasagna (and Heaven help anyone in my household I catch using it for any other purpose) because my Mama always swore that Cuisinart made the best lasagna pans outside of Italy and after using it I'd say listen to your Mama! The number two reason I settled on it was the fact that there is room to top the pan with non-stick aluminum foil (a godsend here) and seal it all the way round. Yep there's just enough room even with the handles to do so.Cuisinart has lost a lot of luster in my eyes with their small appliances of late (but haven't they all since every thing on Earth except dirt is made in China now) but when it comes to their line of essential stainless steel cookware I think they're still holding up their end of the bargain even if it is made in China. You won't go wrong with this pan and your Mama's or your Grandmother's recipe...Trust me!
