This item was recommended by a qualified manicurist called Anna who has her own You Tube channel called Salon Life, and she gives advice on caring for your nails at home. (She actually uses this tool in her videos and shows you exactly what to do.) I feel that this is a quality tool to push the skin fold back gently, and is comfortable to hold. Since I have been using it I think it has made a difference to the overall look of the nails. I also follow her advice to very regularly apply a small amount of oil or a cuticle balm to the skin around the nails.

I had one that was similar but what I love more about this one is the cuticle pusher end is slightly curved like a spoon or scoop, which better covers the natural curve of your nails. If that end is a spoon, the other end is almost like a butter knife or a very dull scalpel, which really helps get under the cuticle. My old tool was more like a flat paddle at this end which did the job but it was too thick to get under the nail bed like this tool does. Just like my old tool, it is made with surgical grade steel, so it's nice and sturdy and will last forever. Love this tool! Highly recommend!
