When yo put the bait in, shake a bit towards the front of the barrel to better atract the animal.

Illegal to use in the UK
This trap is not approved under the The Spring Traps Approval (England) Order 2018 >it is illegal to use it and Amazon should not be selling it in the UK. It is also almost guaranteed to kill non target species as there is no means of excluding them, (i.e. via a tunnel)
