I got this hoping it would work with a Marantz SR7007 receiver (not one of the ones listed). The volume rocker no longer worked on the original remote - the one function I use most often besides powering on. After adding batteries I paired it with the original remote by holding the power button down on both remotes. I had to press "main" on the new one so the Marantz would power up properly. To my surprise, all of the functions on the new remote worked with the SR7007, including volume, internet radio, CD, AUX1, AUX2, mute, option, and sound mode. Really helpful because the only replacement I could find that had the same exact layout as the original cost $80, whereas this one is a fraction of the cost and gives me all the functions I need.

My stock remote worked fine until the volume up button failed. None of the remedy YT videos helped in my case. I didn't feel like investing anymore time after finding this replacement remote with great reviews and the price is certainly right. It arrived next day shipping with my Amazon Prime, and didn't disappoint. Threw 2 AAA batteries in, I pushed the "main" zone select button first. Tested the other buttons and voila every button was fully functional. Didn't need to pair it. Glad to be back to good with a fully functional remote:) Remote feels good, the rubber buttons feel tight and with no slop. It's a bit lighter in weight than my stock remote but who cares, it's a perfect replacement.

Yes, Definitely get one or two spares if you have a Marantz Works Fine Test it, then take out the batts and put it away for safe keeping if you have one of these Marantz units

My SR7008 blew the center channel. I only use it for 2 channels. This remote may not have all the functions of the original unit. But it works out for me since I only use the power, mute, input selection and volume control.

My original remote stopped remoting. It was obviously getting power because buttons would light and some buttons did have an affect on the remote itself. I think the infrared LED stopped working. Bought this replacement and it looks slightly different, but works like new!

Not sure what is going on with this remote, but it seemed to stop working after, maybe a few months of usage. I ended up buying a universal remote and downloading the app to adjust the volume.
