F.A. Davis Company Molecular Diagnostics: Fundamentals, Methods, and Clinical Applications

If you’re studying for the MB (ASCP) exam, buy this book. I got a 394 with no additional education and some job training (I worked as a Molecular Tech with but not a great Molecular background). I just read the book cover to cover in my spare time at work. With a little extra review, you can pass with a 400 or higher.

The book looked absolutely fine and new when I received it. When I started reading it, I found the text to be defective. On turning the pages I saw that most pages had this defect where alphabets had boxes instead and some pages like those shown above were unreadable. On looking carefully, I saw that most pages had this defect. I have asked for a replacement. Let’s see what they send…. This is simply cheating people. It’s an expensive book and this is not expected from Amazon

Useful book for understanding the basics of molecular methods

It’s a great book for studying molecular biology.

Loved this book, I had the previous editions for college for my CLS/MTL classes. The book explains a lot and in great detail. Bought it again because I rented the other one and wanted a hard copy to study for the board
