Great Songs of the Old West

This is evidently a knockoff of Roy and Dale songs. Roy and Dale are NOT the singers on this CD that I was lead to believe. It is only songs that were made popular by Roy and Dale. Don’t waste your money on purchasing this CD. I feel like it was money wasted for sure.

Just a wonderful CD performed by the King of the Cowboys and Queen of the Cowgirls, Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. This is another CD I lost...to my 92 year old dad. If you like western and like the duo of Roy and Dale this CD will be one you won't regret adding to your collection or starting a Roy and Dale collection. Songs just make you feel uplifted and happy.

What can I say that hasn't already been said about Roy Rogers.The cd was what I expected,old time Saturday afternoon western music. Music from a simpler time when the songs meet something and the feeling is laid back. Even my kids(10 and 11 ) who hate all my music enjoyed Rogers songs and even were singing some of them. If you like cowboy songs, this is it for you.

Took me right back to my childhood and watching Roy and Dale on the TV. Like very much the quality of sound and the choice of songs on this CD. My time and money well spent.

This CD has everything for a Roy Rogers and Dale Evans fan. Roy and Dale harmonizing, Roy's yodeling, and storytelling. This CD brings back memories of when I used to watch their westerns and listen to them sing while I was dressed in my cowgirl outfit.

Nice to hear these old songs. There is also one reading of a children's story, with participation. That will be nice for novelty use maybe once in the future, but disrupts the experience music listening.

Great album..However I bought this one becasue I thought "Happy Trails to You" was on it..My mistake, but great listening anyway.

Love this CD. Glad someone put Hoofbeat Serenade and Cowboy Needs a Horse in this collection. They left out Song Wagon which was a great tune in the original Great Songs of the Old West.
