got those socks for my teenage son (who suddenly decided that white socks were no longer "in"). They have met all of my (and his) expectations...To me, the most important feature in socks is the COTTON PERCENTAGE. At 76% cotton, these socks limit sweating and odors (which is exactly what they should do), but there's not so much cotton that the socks don't stretch or are rough.Then, there's COMFORT. With 21% nylon and 2% spandex, those socks have the perfect amount of stretching and softness, for optimum comfort. They don't get rough after multiple washing, and my son says they're very comfortable.Then DURABILITY: The reinforced heels/toes limit wear at the heel/toes and increase comfort.And finally: "WASHABILITY". Most socks with that kind of design (ribs in the middle of the foot) "shrink" in the middle after repeated washing, becoming tight and uncomfortable. Those haven't.As far as the FIT is concerned: The sizing is true to size. My son's show size is 11.5–12; I ordered size L and the socks fit nicely. By the time these socks get old and worn, he'll be ready for the XL, which I'll buy confidently knowing those are HIGH-QUALITY SOCKS.
