Great for a camping trip w your dog!
Good quality product and size. Easy to assemble. Easy to use. I have a bid dog (90 lbs) and my dog was secured and I felt good knowing my dog was safely tethered while I was at camp. I think that it supposed to be used while monitoring your dog. I wouldn’t leave your dog unsupervised. The rope is not chew resistant and depending on how it is strung, the dog could get tangled. It took my dog a few hours to understand how it worked but by the end of a two day trip, he was comfortable and didn’t mind it. Definitely a camping must.

This is a must have for camping!
I camp often and love that while I set up camp, I can securely tie off the dog(s). I string it between a couple of trees and have no issues using for two American Bulldogs. (they are very well trained, however.......squirrels)

Simple yet sturdy enough for a large strong dog
Works exactly as described. It looks nearly identical to another portable overhead dog trolley system by another company that I first saw at a local camping supply store, but it was out of stock everywhere that I looked. I bought this hoping that it would be similar and so far it has totally met my expectations.I was looking for a safe option to tether my large 90lb dog that is not trustworthy off leash to not run around and pester everyone for treats (Great Pyranees is French for "Great at disaPYRing"), but he constantly gets himself tangled up in regular tie outs or can pull the anchor out of the ground when he puts his mind to it.This is a great way of giving him a bit of freedom right next to our campsite or picnic table for a little while while leaving our hands free to set up camp or cook. As long as you have 2 trees or other solid upright objects to wrap-around, it works fantastic. On one trip we actually tethered it between my car ( door frame) and a tree, and although it was closer to the ground it still worked great. There is a heavy duty double locking carabiner that slides along the rope that is easy to get a leash/long line on and off, but sturdy enough that even when my dog pulled on it with a running start it did not break.(Important Note: If it's not already obvious, you should not attach this to a collar, you need to put this on a well fitting harness so that if he does get a running start and pulls he doesn't snap his own neck. If your dog is an escape artist with harnesses like my fluffy goofball, look for a harness that has a 3rd strap around the belly that is *slightly* tighter than the rib cage, it is much harder for them to shimmy backwards out of that type of harness. )Once he learned that the rope was solid enough that he wouldn't be able to yank it free like he would with the tie outs that anchor to the ground, he stopped trying to pull on it as hard as he could and just mellowed out with staying at leash length along the ropes run. Hooray! Now I can go camping and actually enjoy doing things other than holding my dogs leash the entire time while everyone else enjoys the camping trip.So far the rope seems to be holding up well to the constant friction of the carabiner running along it, and it doesn't have a lot of stretch/slack after it is tightened in place. It has gotten wet, I've rinsed mud off of it, I've set it up a couple of dozen times by now and it is still in great condition. The whole thing is light weight and packs down very compactly into its own storage bag that it comes with, which makes it easy to keep stored in my car at all times. The bright orange rope is reflective which is super helpful at night if you leave it set up at your camp you will see it with the least bit of light from your lantern or even moonlight. We have gotten a lot of questions and compliments about it at the campgrounds we've been at from other folks looking for a safe and easy way to keep a large dog close by, especially when you can't always keep a leash in your hand and carrying a large dog crate to fit a 90 pound dog on every camping trip is cumbersome if not impossible. This would make a great gift for anyone in your life who camps with their dog. 5/5 stars from me, and 4/4 paws from my dog Falcor who is probably thrilled that he can come on more camping trips with me now that I have a good way of keeping him close by.

Great tie out.
Used it a few times at the campground and it holds up well. Doesn’t mark up the trees either.

Great tie out for my 65lb dog! The rope is strong and doesn’t fray when rubbing up against a tree. The carabiners are sturdy and close tightly so your dog can’t escape it. Recommend!
