I purchased this charger to replace the one that came with my husband's FitBit 4. The original charger has such a short cord that we couldn't even put it on his nightstand. This one is longer and he can leave it on his nightstand easily. It's also much easier to plug the FitBit into it. Overall, for our purposes, it's a better charger--easier and simpler to use. One important thing to remember, though, is to keep the original charging cable as you will need it if you ever need to reset your FitBit.

Purchased this to replace the clamping type chargers I'd typically used because they were causing the screen protector to lift along the watch face edges where the clamp fastened. That issue is not a problem with this charging stand! You simply press the back of the watch into the receiver on the stand and it attaches securely without touching the face of the watch. Very well constructed, nice length on the USB cable and not so bulky you can't drop it in a bag or purse for travel. Charges faster than the plug/cable I was using.

My Fitbit Charge 4 is less than a year old. All of a sudden, it stopped charging when I would clamp it into the charger (with the short cord), making sure the pins connected underneath. I saw this and thought I’d give it a try. Before I put it in the charger, it was at 3%. Look at it now, just after 4 hours of charging. It’s smiling again. Whew!

I find I have to recharge the Charge 4 FitBit more frequently then my previous Inspire HR. It's a hassle, but with this charger it's a piece of cake. I keep it by my bed and I just pop it in for 10 or 15 minutes while I read before bed. going to sleep. My only complaint is that I have to take off the screen protector in order for it to fit. The extra bulk from the screen protector makes it too wide to pop into the charging unit, but no biggie. I do find it easier to get in and out if I take of the band before putting it in the charger. I would buy it again.
