So much misunderstanding on how to use this metal box container.EASY OPEN: Push down with your thumb onto the center of the metal cap, it will "pop" and then you can simply lift it off.EASY RESEALING: Turn the metal cap upside down on the countertop, use your thumb to press into the center until the metal "pops" back into its original shape, push it back onto the can. Seals perfectly.EASY POURING: This container has a built-in spout -- open the lid, pull it out fully, pour as needed, push the spout back into the can. No drips.The flavor of this sesame oil is wonderful -- try it in salad dressings, use it to bring extra flavor wherever oil is needed. Only caution is this is a low-temperature oil so use accordingly.

We use a lot of sesame oil in our cooking. The nearest Asian grocery shop is quite a distance away, so it is nice that we are able to get this sesame oil for around the same price. When you remove the metal cap, it has a long tube that can be extended and which allows you to pour the oil into a smaller counter. You will want to pour this into a smaller sesame oil bottle so that it is easier to control how much you are using. But his container will last a long time, and it is much cheaper buying this rather than those small bottles of sesame oil. Just pour this into one of the smaller bottles and you are good to go.

I was so hoping for a earthy flavorful sesame oil commensurate with locally marketed versions. Sesame oil is typically added after cooking or preparation, but this one missed the mark. Yes taste pallets do vary from person to person and I understand that, so take this review with a "grain of salt." It has a weak strange taste that is not at all enhancing. The familiar sesame flavor just isn't there and when compared side-by-side with others, in our mind, it is way off. Sorry to say, but we feel it really is inferior. Certainly a disappointment in our kitchen.

Seriously great deal on quality sesame oil. I keep my can deep n the dark of bottom shelf in pantry & fill a small carafe (meant for olive oil) on the cabinet.I’ve had no trouble w it going rancid even when storing for up to several yrs, although recently I purchased a Wok & have been doing a lot of Asian dishes so I think this can will b gone n less than a year.The packaging is a little foreign to most of us but once u get it, no problem. I knew from reviews that I needed to b careful the 1st time. I simply took my time & followed the directions on the can, easy peasy!!
