Lightmates LITE00113 LED Wireless Puck Light with Switch, 6-Pack

After I went on youtube and saw these I ordered them in. They work great for my boyfriends gun safe. Yes, they suck up batteries but rechargeable ones work great. Plus using them in the gun safe they don't used that much and batteries as much.

This was my original review;This is an amazing buy. We are currently renting a condo, and we love it. The only issue we have, is that the kitchen is slightly dark. I was watching HGTV one day, and noticed the difference under cabinet lights made. Unfortunately, we weren't willing to do all that construction, especially since the place isn't ours. I looked around for weeks for a solution. I finally stumbled upon this. It was about $40 (I paid for expedited shipping) and came with 6 pucks, BATTERIES, and a remote (that turns it on, off, dims the lights, and, my favorite, has a 30 minute timer). I thought it was a steal, and possibly too good to be true, that is, until I used it. From the time I opened the package, it took about 10 minutes (I read the whole information packet, and I am very anal about doing everything a particular way) to assemble. The directions are super simple. The light is BRIGHT. I like it on the dim setting, but if you need more light, then go for it! A great product! I highly recommend!After 1 week of using it, I had to replace ALL the batteries. Whats worse, is that they have to constantly be replaced EACH WEEK. I don't even use it that much! Uggh.

I purchased this item for use with my jewelry display cases at an antiques market because I thought it would provide quick lighting for the customers when they walk up to browse the display cases. The lights are bright and meet my expectation. The only complaint would be the battery life is short. These lights are perfect for limited (non commercial) use. The remote does control all the lights and we do receive a lot of compliments. Easy to install. Each light requires 3 batteries, which are included. I recommend this product.

While this is a great kit to get easy lighting like under cabinet lighting, it drains the battery sooooo fast. Seriously, it seems like the first set of batteries did not even last 2 weeks and thats accounting for us not even using it that much. Its a disappointment for a good lighting kit.

I've owned these for over 1 year and have them under our kitchen cabinets. They are excellent if you will use them once in a while, here is why:1) The concept is awesome: fairly good light output, 2 light/intensity settings, 30-minute timer option, remote controlled, very easy to install, and they stay in place.2) As lots of reviewers have pointed out, the short battery life is an issue. (I thought using the lights for only 30 to 40 minutes/day while preparing dinner and having rechargeable batteries would solve this; however, I found myself recharging the batteries every week. After a few months of this, I realized that I do mind taking 18 batteries out, recharging and replacing them every week, so I went back to my original plan to install wired lights under the kitchen cabinets).3) Now that the lights are re-purposed under shelves and inside display cabinets in our home office, and used perhaps twice/month for 1-2 hours at a time, the rechargeable batteries last 4-6 weeks and this is acceptable to me.Hope this helps your decision making on this.

I bought these as a lighting solution for my gun safe. The product comes with 3M double sided adhesive that you apply to the back of the lights, this would be ideal for flat surfaces, but if you want to adhere the lights to a carpeted surface you would have buy velcro with an adhesive backing (readily available at Wal-Mart in the crafts dept.) The lights are bright and the fact that they come with a remote was a deal sealer. So far they have met and exceeded my expectations.I have read other reviews and it seems that others are trying to use these as a sustained lighting solution which I would discourage simply because they are battery operated. On a related note, I did happen to leave them on for about 8 hours because I forgot to turn them off and they did not drain the batteries. Either way if you need to illuminate a space for a short period of time and don't mind changing out the batteries periodically these lights may be the solution you are looking for.I highly reccommend these for any gun safe!

I've replace the batteries in these wireless puck lights twice and they fail to remain lite for more than 2 or 4 hours, then they fade and won't work at all. This was a waste of money. I wish they worked because when they do, they are very nice. Not sure if my set is defective or what, but I purchased these in December, opened them in February, used them maybe 2 evenings for a few hours and then they failed to work. thought it might be bad batteries, so I replaced the batteries and one by one they began to fail again. A shame. I would not recommend this product at all

Ordered these to light a DETOLF display cabinet I have. I was originally going to use LED strips, but the wiring did not look very good. Ordered these in place of strips and they work relatively well. They arent quite as bright as I would really like, becuase they are displaying some figurines, that are supposed to be displayed well. However, they do not have wires and they still have a good light output even though they run on 3 AAA batteries each. The remote works well, and at relatively long distances. I may end up buying another set soon.
