The silicon mat is thin & pliable. When it arrived it was folded & the back sides stuck together but I was able pull it apart. The back side of the mat stayed somewhat sticky until I used it on a work table to cover the surface while repotting plants in planters. (The mat did not however stick to other surfaces.) As I continued to use it, it came less sticky. Overall it works well for my use - the pliability was good as it allowed me to easily recapture spilled soil for reuse.

The mat is really thin like thinner than a dime so you can't cut on it, like others posted its folded and the marks will not go away, I have it laid flat for a few days now and they got better but still won't go away I would of gave it 1 start but to be honest I should of read the other reviews so its part my fault

This is awesome. I put it on my stove when I want to create and it keeps my stove from getting so messy. Everything still has to be wiped, but this covers the edges on the front and back that suck to clean, so I am a fan. I have a smaller one that I use to make soap so I knew this would likely be acceptable, but I might buy a second bigger one for that too, for the same reasons. Anyway, I have found it very useful for baking prep and it helps move along cleanup, too, because I am not sure how it would do with the heat from the trays of whatever I happen to be making, so everything is off the stove before they come out just to get the mat out of the way. My mat also came folded, but I do not notice that there are lines precisely. I actually refold it. They really sort of smooth out every time. Would buy again, and might.

This is the largest mat I could find and it is perfect for my craft table. Glue gun, sparkles, paint and anything else I can spill on it can easily be wiped clean. I don't know how I made it this far without one.

I use this as a work mat to protect my furniture when I am crafting with glue and paper. The size is generous enough that I can spread items out as I work, and the weight of the mat is thicker than some other silicone mats I've tried. The mat arrived in protective cardboard in a timely manner.
