This is the right thickness to go under clothing and can be used as pajamas. Turn down your thermostat and save money on your electric bill. Sleep like a baby! Keeps your body constantly at the right temp naturally. This is very important for all ages (especially the older you get). That's what merino wool does. I will be wearing it under my jeans flying internationally. I use a drop of the green Miracle II to hand wash, dry flat over night. So two sets is ideal to have. Very soft. Not itchy and light weight. You get a free pair of socks which have turned out to be THE MOST COMFORTABLE SOCKS I'VE EVER HAD!!!! Highly HIGHLY recommend this product!!!!! I love these shirts. I have a few long sleeve and short sleeve. They are designed nicely for everyday wear, or as an under layer. The fit is flattering. I can’t say enough about how nice this wool is for temperature regulating, and odor resistance. They’re perfect for traveling. Wool is comfortable in a wide range of temperatures. The antimicrobial properties mean you can wear the it multiple days without needing a wash. Quality does not deteriorate with washing. For reference I’m 5’7” 130# size small

This isn't the first Merino tech sweater like this I've purchased. These are very nice, fine merino wool sweaters that don't feel itchy at all. I wear them as a base layer, or as a single (only layer) depending on the weather. They are perfect for trips as you can wear them next to your skin without odor for days reducing the number of garments you have to pack (always a good thing). Wool is natural warmth helping to keep your body's warmth constant and wool can get wet without making you feel cold. Because of all the qualities of wool garments, they function well in all situations, surprisingly even when you might think it is too warm for them. All of my sweaters of any style are merino or cashmere because the quality is high and their usefulness is, too. I love the fit of this sweater group. It shapes itself to your body without being "clingily", or check the size chart if you like a looser fit. Although I haven't needed it for these sweaters, I recommend a "sweater shaver" to remove any pilling that may occur on any sweater: it keeps sweaters looking brand new and only requires a few minutes to use. The colors so far are great, too!

I originally purchased this as a base layer for a trip to Iceland. While we were there, I wore it under a Uniqlo vest for sightseeing and hiking. I have continued to wear it ever since. I bought the 250-weight shirt in charcoal in a size large. It is soft, not itchy. It fits close enough to my body to be easy to layer, but not so close or clingy that I feel self-conscious wearing it on its own. Wool is nice because it is quick-drying, doesn't trap body odor, and is breathable, making it never too hot or too cold. I was mistakenly sent a black 165-weight shirt along with the charcoal one in the same size. The lighter-weight shirt is less opaque, but it works well under other items. Overall, this was one of my best Amazon travel purchases. The socks were a nice bonus!

This was much more of a purple in real life than a hot pink. This color in a Medium fit perfectly - I run between a M and a L in tops. I did order this same shirt in the cream color and it was HUGE and more yellow than cream. One star off for consistency in sizes between colors - Both colors were in the 250 weight. However, the pink (purple) one is absolutely perfect in style, fit, quality and comfort. Planning on taking as a layering piece for travel to Germany in the winter. Hoping it washes well!

Excellent product! I ordered the longsleeve crew in a medium and its perfect. I usually wear smalls but didn't want it too snug and its not baggy but not tight. Very warm and soft. They even sent free socks. I'll be ordering more!

Soft, comfy, warm, and great quality. This layer is great under tops or as a pajama top teamed with the 165 weight leggings. So warm and cozy.

Loved the warmth and versatility on long multi climate hiking. However, after three days, the material is pilling. Also, the free socks were very comfortable but my toe went through them after the first major hike.
