Will they stick to wounds?

They can if blood or puss sets on them but not too badly like gauze pads do. We used these for my mom's legs and found they worked best.

Obviously, these are purchased to cover a wound with fears of infection looming greatly--the open box sight is a NO!--Why no box top?

Yuck! No, I wouldn't use them. Send them back. I ordered these for my husband to use after he had abdominal hernia surgery and they were perfect. They were in a sealed box or sealed in plastic. There is no way I'd use something that wasn't sealed on an open wound.
