Cra-Z-Art Window Art, Medium Boxes (12419)

I’m ordering another now. My four and a half year old absolutely loves these. He’ll literally spend one hour + adding the colors happily by himself (watch out because the colors are permanent and do not wash off easily). Me, my wife, and nanny will trace with the black and then my son adds the colors after the black dries (about an hour). This activity keeps him happy and occupied longer than anything he does aside from watching TV which we try and discourage with fun activities like this. The colors take at least over night to dry so I feel it’s also helping teach my son patience.

I bought this as a fun way to keep the birds from crashing into my windows. I remember having a similar kit as a kid in Germany, and while that one was higher quality, it is hard to find anything like it here in the US! On the positive side, this was fun to use, you can make any pattern you want, and the colors were easy to get out. The kids I used it with from 6-10 years old all had fun, I did the outline and the colored it in. It was really easy to get my designs off of the plastic (I used sheet protectors) and onto the window. Now that the designs have been on the window a while I suspect it will ruin them when I peel them off, but I expected that. On the negative side, the black outline tends to run a bit more than I would like, there is no yellow (which I think unfortunate) and some of the colors, particularly the blue, fade quite fast after being in the sun for a while. Overall I would recommend it and I had no major issues, for the price you really can’t beat it!

A gift that they liked.

I have this for my kids and they loved it so I ordered it for a friend's kids for Christmas. However, the kids went to make them today and the bottle of black was dried out, so they can't even start it. Three sad kids. : (

there is only 1 4x4 piece of plastic to make the window art on. 25 different patterns but only 1 very small piece of plastic to use. totally ridiculous. do not buy a real waste of money.

Tried several times to create window art. Extremely hard to peel off the sheet without coming apart. Basically a waste of money

I did not order from Amazon however I plan on ordering another one! It comes with outlines to follow or you can make your own! I am a nanny and me and my 4 year old love to creat cool thingsStep 1. Make black outline (wait about an hour to dry give or take)Step 2. Fill in with desired colorsStep 3. Let dry over night! And that's it!I have found using saran wrap makes it easier to pull the window clings off of as well the colors do you fade over time normally about 2 months life span but they still are pretty cool!

I found this product not very useful the quality of paint very poor.
