We have only used this a couple days but my son (3 1/2 ) quickly bought into it. It takes a little practice to get used to setting the actual alarm as the directions are translated in a confusing way but with some trial and error it is able to figured out relatively quickly. I love how lightweight and portable it is as well. This is definitely a great investment for anyone with little ones under 7.

This is a very simple item. There are 2 buttons to use for setting the time and the awake time. And a toggle switch for on, off, and alarm.You are able to choose between am/pm and 24hr. If you want to use this for both naptime and bedtime you will need to reset it each time.I honestly have no problem with how this product works, my son is 2yrs and 2 months. It took a few days for him to catch on and he still often gets out of bed but as soon as I mention "lambie" he goes back and lays down with no complaints until lambie wakes up.I would recommend this item but for one issue. This is a simple plastic item with 2 buttons and a toggle switch, it runs on batteries and a simple light is the only indicator between awake and asleep. It should NOT cost even the $24 I paid for it much less the $30 list price! I won't even tell friends what it cost because I immediately felt like a sucker when I saw just how simple this item is.

Horrible!! Absolutely impossible to set the time and alarm. There are symbols in the frame as well that are not even shown in the directions as to what it is. The directions are horrible. I am a pretty tech savvy person too so I see now why so many reviews over the website of the same problem.

Love this alarm clock! The only problem is, it is hard to set the time and timer. Once it is set you can't clear it and reset it.We use it as a night light

This is the 2nd one we've bought because our last was on its last legs after almost 4 years of use. My son learned very quickly when it was okay to get out of bed in the morning when we set it to change only the light. The audio alarm was used on weekdays when we had to get up and go to preschool. My husband and I have LOVED using this as a means for getting a little extra sleep-in time on weekends; my son would just lie in bed looking at books until his light changed, then he would come get us. Now that my son is in kindergarten, we use it to get up and get going each morning. The only downside to this one is that the light in it is super dim.

We have had this clock for my 2.5 year old for about a month or two now and absolutely love it. The light is not too bright (my son was not used to sleeping with a nightlight so I wanted one that wasn't very bright) but it's still easy to tell if the sheep is asleep or awake. It's very easy to program and use (I change the "ok to wake" time twice a day to set it at nap time and bedtime). My son loves it too! It's also super compact so I plan on taking it on a trip with us in a few weeks which I think will help everyone sleep better in the hotel.

I wrote a long review for the full size clock, and this little one is just as great as the big one. Obviously there are more features on the big one, but for hotels and travel (I even use it in airplanes!) it’s perfect! Battery life is long (haven’t changed them yet!) and it seems to be pretty durable, as it’s been to three countries on two continents in the past few months. These clocks have saved. my. sleep.

Rating is 3 star because I received a returned product. There are a few yellow marks on the cover (such as from a marker) and the clock face was a little grimy. After setting the clock, the sheep has always woken up at the configured times. So far it is keeping time accurately. I have the larger plug-in model for my older son (and LOVE IT) and bought the smaller travel version for an upcoming trip we have planned. Plus, the night light on a light timer I have rigged for my younger son is not working out as well as I hoped. He can use this one going forward. I see a lot of complaints here on how to set the clock, but the directions worked for me. Plus I figured it out anyway based on my experience with the full-size clock. I hope to use re-chargeable batteries on this to make it more environmentally friendly. I'll update my review if I start having problems with it.
