Deluxe Oversized Squirrel Tail

DO NOT RECOMMEND! This was a waste of money! I rarely leave a bad review but I inflated the furry tail and clipped the belt on and put on the shoulder straps for my squirrel costume. Within 5 minutes of walking around the tail was limp and floppy. So I inflated it again and made extra sure to secure the valve cover. Again within 5 minutes, limp, sad squirrel tail. Will they take it back if I don't have the plastic bag it came in???

I am very satisfied with this tail. I bought it for my Squirrel Girl costume and while it's not as big as Squirrel Girl's,it is a decent size for the price considering larger ones I've seen sell for six times as much. It has an elastic strap that holds the tail to your waist or hips and two clear straps to wear over your shoulders to keep it upright. It was somewhat difficult to inflate but once I got the valve squeezed right it wasn't bad.

First of all, this didn’t come with any kind of clip or belt. It’s just the tail with a tag at the bottom. Secondly, I had a heck of a time trying to find the part that you’re supposed to blow into. I had to feel around from the outside to find it on the inside (if that makes sense) to find it, then work it down to the hole where it should have been. Thirdly, when I finally did all that, it deflated after 3 minutes. There’s no way to find the leak except by pulling the inflatable bag out, and you can forget trying to put it back in. So I finally ended up just stuffing the tail with Poly-Fil. I would have just sent it back but I didn’t have time to come up with a “Plan B”.

I love this tail!!! The arm straps are clear which is super easy for hiding!! We're going to be Bob Ross and a Happy Little Squirell for halloween and this is perfect!Now, I know alot of people have struggled with blowing up this tail. It seems impossible but I can tell you notit's not! When it tells you to squeeze the valve, you want to squeeze at the BOTTOM of the valve. You'll notice a little flappy thing/sort of line there that looks like the one on the instructions. I hope this helps all future buyers!!!!

I ordered this to use in a play as I ran out of time to make one myself. I had had to do that with a racoon tail and when that came it was really small and cheap. I was pleasantly suprised with this tail. The boy wearing it was tall and on the bigger side and it looked just right. The fact that it was inflatable was great because you got size without weight. Definitly reccomend.

Was almost the perfect tail. The color was more ashy blonde than what I need for my costume. But nothing some brown and orange crayola markers wont fix. The waist band is very adjustable. The clear arm straps are too small for an adult but they fit and I am 5'4" and it makes the tail land on the middle of my back. This will be part of a new costume so hopefully I am able to sew it on using maybe buttons instead of hinging on my arms. Good buy though even though Idid struggled to blow it up initially. It works, it's a tail.

Very challenging to blow up but you literally pinch where you don’t think you’re supposed to. I read the previous reviews to get help. I spent about 30 min before I could find the sweet spot. The tail is great and huge! The shoulder straps are perfect for keeping it up. My daughter got it to be Squirrel Girl foe a costume party.

Due to it being an inflatable tail, it's very lightweight and comfortable to wear while walking around. The texture and color give it a beautiful, natural feel. It's very easy to inflate using your mouth on the valve. At full capacity, it's big and fluffy in appearance. There are clear, plastic straps to hook over onto your shoulders. The straps feel and look cheap, but they fulfill their function and help secure the tail to you when you wear it.The only real con to this tail is that the "fur" sheds quite a lot.Overall, this is a decent tail for the price.

Llegó en tiempo y buenas condiciones. Es inflable, con pelaje muy agradable al tacto y tiene unos botones (que no se notan) en donde se agarran los hilos transparentes para mantener la cola de ardilla. Más yo preferí usarla para un disfraz de lobo, le oculte las cuerdas entre el pelaje y listo. Esta grande y esponjada. el resorte con el cual está sujetado a uno, se puede remover y poner algún cinturón, gancho o broche.

This has been purchased for our granddaughter for her school Hallowe’en party. It is a great idea. Only one thing wrong. It is supposed to be inflatable - only it is defective. Won’t blow up. So. I opened up a seam and stuffed it with cotton batting. It will still do the trick this way. It is usable. So the granddaughter is satisfied.
