Honestly just what we needed
*Used on 3 cats*Pounds: 7#/10#/20#*Temperaments: calm, normal, aggressively fiesty (claws and bites to which I have scars to prove)*Hair length: short, medium, longWe have had this product for awhile then lost it before being able to use it. Had to take 2 of the cats to the vet for yearly exams and they didn't make it back clean (peed and pooped in the kennel) so we HAD to bath them. At this time this product was still lost and we had to bath them by hand. Both my husband and I ended up coming out of that bath with battle wounds (I almost had to go to the hospital with as bad as the cat got me with her teeth and claws). We subsequently found this bag about 2 hours after the horrible bath with the feline devil. Fast forward to 4 months later and we FINALLY decided to try this out que the bathing of our 3 cats. The one pictured above is the evil one which is why her head got covered. ALL the cats came out good! We had NO one harmed. No nail breakage, no water in their face, no bitting, no scratching. This was by far the EASIEST time we have EVER had bathing the cats. The cats also didn't seemed traumatized like they have acted in the past. I would 100% recommend this item!Pro: easy to put on, used to safely trim nails, even on the aggressive one (to which we had to cover her head (pictured)) no person or cat was harmed while using this, used for bath time, definitely cleaned them, product itself I just threw in the washer and hang dried.Con: the fixtures aren't as steadfast as we would like but 2 simple and loose double knots after the adjustable pieces served to fix this problem.

A lifesaver when washing my 4 cats
This item really helped us when bathing our 4 cats. We have a 10 to 11 lb cat that just fit. So, if your cat is larger it may not be large enough. I will also say that if you have really small cats that it might not be the best. It made it so easy to wash three of our cats. Our smallest cat slipped right out of it. Not sure how. He was the last so I'm not sure if the sack being wet made a difference or if I just didn't make it tight enough when I tightened the cords around his neck.

Decent for price
The zipper broke right after I finished trimming my cats nails and I canāt get it back on. My cat did not like this at all but it was pretty easy getting her in. However, itās not long enough to get her butt and tail into the mesh. I had to stuff her back legs in and she was able to escape anyways. This did not really make trimming her nails that much easier, if anything it made her more anxious and I was scared she was gonna choke herself with how much she was squirming. I didnāt tie it tight enough to choke her but since her butt didnāt fit all the way in she was able to squirm and get one of her back legs free and started to kick the mesh off. It was just more of hassle and Iām disappointed because the nail trim was a test to see how it would hold before I tried giving her a bath with it. If you have a somewhat long and chunky cat Iād say maybe not this one. It did hold up good when I lifted her with the handle so thatās a plus for chunky cats, but the length isnāt great.

šTie those Drawstrings!
This is a well made grooming bug for a cat, but the cord locks on the drawstrings will not hold an active wet cat. The one at the end of the gag LET MY CAT OUT OF THE BAG!!! ! Use sturdier cord lock devices or tie those drawstrings so escape isnāt possible. A lathered up soaking wet cat loose in the house is not something you want to have happen! I recommend it if you remember to secure those strings! š

Donāt do it!
Getting the cat into the bag was actually easier than I expected. I got her head poked out like the picture and everything fastened down tight but not too tight for kitty. It looked good so I felt comfortable enough to move to the bathroom sink for her bath. Then I donāt know what happened. It happened so fast! I got her wet and shampoo applied. The kitty was doing the best to squirm and twist and break free. I guess the slickness of her wet fur and the shampoo⦠she got out of the bag! Iām so glad I shut the bathroom door before it all started because there was not a dry inch in that bathroom afterwards. She got loose and started zooming around the bathroom at 100MPH. I swear at one point she was running on the ceiling. I was doing my best to chase her down to keep her from hurting herself and to wash the shampoo off. This was a waste of money since I will not be doing that EVER AGAIN. I now have to buy replacement band-aids and replacement shower curtain. Highly donāt recommend washing a cat everā¦..ever!
