I love these wooden sculptures. The phonograph worked (i.e., played the record) and looks really cool. I will say that some of the pieces are quite fragile, so if this is your first sculpture of this type, I might not choose to start with this one. I bought this same one for a relative and they struggled with it because they kept breaking pieces.

The media could not be loaded. The instructions were easy to follow and the build came along perfectly! I’m very impressed, as were my husband and son. I was able to complete this build in about 20 working hours. It works like a charm, and I didn’t experience sound issues like some other reviewers mentioned. The only issues I found were with regard to the grammatical errors throughout the instructions.

This was somewhat challenging to put together, but not so difficult that it wasn't fun to do. Some of the pieces are a pretty fragile, and I had to glue a couple back together, but it turned out really cool and just as pictured. I highly recommend buying a needle nose tweezer set with this - I don't think I could have completed it without.The sounds quality is pretty awful. It is far sturdier than I expected once assembled, but it still wobbles when you turn the crank, which causes the needle to skip all around the record. I haven't had a chance to try the micro usb auxiliary audio yet because I don't have the right cord. It's not a normal aux cord like I had expected, so I need to find a micro usb that connects to my phone, I guess.All in all, I recommend this. I never intended to use it as a real record player or speaker - that was just a fun extra. It looks as pictured, and it was fun to put together, so it fulfilled what I expected when purchased!

Wow, this was fun but quite a challenge for a first project of this kind. Some of the parts are so small and others are delicate, but with diligence and determination you can make a very cool 3D puzzle. First, I would recommend that you consider starting with a smaller puzzle and working up to this one. Second, I would recommend working with a partner. We watched a video on YouTube of a guy putting this together in 7 hours (he sped up the video considerably). I think it took my husband and I at least 3 times as much time working together. The directions are fantastic; very detailed. Very happy with our finished product and will consider to another.

I enjoy these wood toys. They are fun. This one was no let down. It is cool when put together.

I’ve done a bunch of these Rockr wooden puzzles — zodiac clock, magic cello, vitascope, stagecoach, locomotive and puzzle box. They’re amazing and far better quality than the other 3D wooden toys out there in my opinion because the pieces fit well together but not so super snuggly that you need a ton of strength to put them together.That being said, this one was a delightful puzzle but also the most challenging one I’ve done yet!!If you’re a beginner to wooden puzzles, I might not suggest that this be the first one you do—there are a ton of moving parts that are delicate, but also, if you mess up a step it could potentially impede you from being able to continue on (specifically the step where you have to rotate a gear to install the turntable support).Overall I was super satisfied with the quality of this product. It was an awesome and challenging build! Rockr has done it again with yet another fantastic puzzle!!

This actually plays records , not very good but it does. Once i got into putting this one together it was nonstop

Looks awesome, but in several videos it shows it playing itself. There's no way to do that and no instructions on how to. Hand crank it is, I guess.
