Works really well
This works really well, I use my Sigma 150-600 contemporary lens with an EF mount on my Sony A7IV. Since it's not a Sony lens, the frame rate is limited. The autofocus seems to work pretty well, not quite as good as my Sony lenses - but I really don't have any complaints. It's been good enough to photograph rodeos and air shows. I am not a professional photographer but a reasonably okay amateur. Perfect for what I needed.

On Sony AC7II - Works great with Canon EF Lenses
I originally bought a cheaper version of this adaptor on Amazon and it turned out to be bad, either poor focus or unable to change aperture, I returned it and went for the more expensive, this adaptor from Sigma. It has not issues at all with Canon EF lenses or Tamron lenses for Canon, I have several Tamron lenses, 70-200 G2 2.8, 35 m 1.8, 15-30 2.8, and many Canon lenses, they all perform perfect, autofocus works great for my needs (no fast photography) and I am able to change the aperture.

Great product
I made the switch from Canon to Sony. I didn’t want to spend thousands of dollars on new lens so I got this adapter. At first I was super skeptical, but once I started shooting with my old lenses, I was super happy with the quality of my photos and overall how it was able to function with my new camera. It is cheap compared to similar products, but it does the job. Overall worth the expense!

Good performance, nice quality, not perfect... Makes sense for multi-Sigma lens owners using A7
Works great with the Sigma ART 35mm f1.4. Not blazing fast but it will use the PDAF of the 'II' series Sony A7 cameras like my A7II. The quick firmware updating was relatively painless and supersedes the lens firmware so you don't have to worry about getting the Sigma lens dock(s). As with any adapted autofocus lens, the accuracy and speed is not perfect. I found it struggled in very low light unless I could find contrasting areas and some have said AF-C works a bit more reliably than AF-S, which is contrary to how I usually use my AF lenses. Build and finish are good, above par for your usual lens adapter. The box is your expected black and white Sigma affair like with their lenses. Overall, probably a must-have if you're adapting several Sigma lenses to the Sony bodies but makes less financial sense if you're only using one (like I am).

Fantastic
On the a6300, having used the Metabones and Commlite adapters, this thing is far, far better. While it only officially supports Sigma EF mount lenses, I have found that a number of Canon lenses work as well (however, you will only have AF-S and AF-C modes). For example, the Canon 50mm 1.4 USM, which doesn't work at all on the Metabones or Commlite, works on the MC-11 quite well. You can even get a degree of focus tracking by setting your shot priority to AF and choosing AF-C (Wide seems to work best). No, it's not what you'd get from a Sony native lens, but it's quite usable. My Canon 70-300mm IS USM takes comparable images, and performs almost as well in AF as the Sony G 70-300mm. Certainly there are reasons to buy the Sony, but for most, this would an effective bridge. On supported lenses like the Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary, I have to say it's almost like using a native lens. I say almost because under normal shooting conditions I wouldn't be able to tell the difference; some native lenses perform far worse, some better. I have tested the adapter with these non-Sigma lenses (assuming AF-S or AF-C mode) - Canon 24mm IS USM - Works Canon 40mm STM - Works Canon 50mm 1.4 USM - Works Canon 18-135 IS USM - Does Not Work Properly Canon 70-300mm IS USM - Works Canon 75-300mm IS USM - Does Not Work Properly Sigma 150-600mm Cont - Feels like a native lens. Quick update - I shot a lot of pics at the Indy 500 this weekend using the a6300 and the Sigma 150-600mm Cont. The combination performed quite well, but you really have to know your AF modes to get the best performance. The only negative I can think of is that it doesn't support EF-S lenses, which is a shame and the only reason I have to hang onto my Commlite adapter. PS - If this review helped, or if you're just bored and enjoy clicking things - could I trouble you for a "Yes" vote below?

Works as if you're using native Sony lenses
I use this with my A7 II and it's a great solution to using Canon EF lenses on a Sony FF body. It adds about an inch to the overall length of the EDF lens. I use it with a 16-35mm 2.8 L, 50mm 1.8 & 85 1.8. The Sony equivalents are either too expensive and/or not as good. OK they're smaller & lighter in many cases but the EF lenses are a proven commodity, plentiful, sharp & well-priced. All lenses I've used with the MC11 auto-focus very quickly, AE works perfectly & all EXIF data is included with the file. I very highly recommend this adapter.

Sigma (like a good vendor) asks for which mount when ordering from their ...
WARNING. There are two different mount versions for this product. Sigma (like a good vendor) asks for which mount when ordering from their website, whereas here there is no drop down or any way to choose between the Canon EF mount or the Sigma SA mount for Canon. I was given the Sigma SA version which will only support Sigma make lenses for Canon EF and not Canon lenses themselves. Shooting a$ap rocky's concert tomorrow and I'm screwed - really pissed.

Very good mount converter of EF mount Selected Sigma lenses on a Sony E mount camera for Photo & Video both. It also supports EF mount Canon Full Frame lenses for photo only but not in video. Also Canon EF mount Crop lenses are not supported for still & Video. Only draw back is it is not weather shield.
