Wonderful Lens Pouch! Multiple mounting options
Oh man, I enjoy Hazard 4 products! This is nice, and well thought out. Molle rows & colums all over this thing, and tactical - meaning black, subdued and nothing shiny and nothing that will cling clang if you catch my meaning. That crazy looking 8.75 inch lens fits perfectly inside, after removing the hook & loop attached top pad. So, with that pad you could place other smaller length lens inside, theoretically? Also a small narrow pouch inside to place memory cards or maybe a lens cloth. Aaannd look at the last image - molle straps to lace into bags, vest etc, as well as plastic loops to use a sling or some cord to wear over the shoulder perhaps. Man if I were a cammy lens, I'd wanna sleep inside THIS case. Looks so comfortably inviting :)

Perfect fit
This, along with the camera and drone bag fit perfectly. I feel much better knowing my sony lense is safe in this carrier. The tactical look is great too. It's nice to have something with a little more of my style that is going to keep my accessories safe.

Water Bottle Pouch
I purchased the large jelly roll pouch to use as a canteen pouch on my Hazard 4 Patrol Pack. The Jelly Roll is a bit different then other water bottle pouches because of the thick padding inside that is made to protect big camera lenses. In the case of using this as a water bottle pouch the padding acts as insulation, something not found in any other molle bottle pouch. The pouch also holds it's shape even when empty which is nice. It is however a bit shorter then other standard 4x10 water bottle pouches so the 40 OZ Klean Canteen is a really tight fit even with the flat D ring cap on it. But the 38 OZ stainless Nalgene Bottle is a perfect fit. The other reason I like this pouch is because of the back side where it attaches to the molle webbing is flat allowing this pouch to sit flush and stable against your pack.

Reality of the intended use as shown for certain Hazard 4 packs.
The quality is excellent! I intended to store my Canon 70-200mm and it's a snug fit. Sadly there is no room for the lens hood or anywhere in my bag as I have used all the space for my camera gear.I tried attaching the Jelly Roll onto my H4 Freelance Photo Sling Bag at the bottom with the compression strap like you see in the photo, that's where I originally wanted to place it. I don't feel confident that the compression strap alone will secure the Jelly Roll in place when I'm on the go. Tightening the strap would be useless because when you take out the lens or large water bottle, the Jelly Roll would just slip out of the strap. I would use the side of the photo bag where the molle straps are if I have to, but that's where I normally place my water flask or tripod.

Just BARELY fits a Canon 70-200 f/2.8 with mounting ring
The main reason I got this was because it was a molle compatible padded lens case that looked like it could fit the Canon 70-200 f/2.8 lens based on how it appeared in the photos. I was pretty sure it could fit the lens, but whether it would fit the lens while mounted with the metal ring tripod mount was another story. Well, I'm happy to say it DOES fit with the metal ring mount but just barely. You have to stretch the sides of the case a little to get it all in there, but it does and zips up just fine. The molle straps on the back were a welcome delight as some companies do not include ANY way to strap it to molle (I'm looking at YOU, Maxpedition with your awful tac-ties and Blackhawk! with your annoying speed clips) Companies like Hazard 4 and Condor seem to be good about having the proper molle straps to hook it on as intended. Personally I've got this strapped on the side of a black Condor Molle Camera Bag and may order a Hazard 4 Forward Observer just to give it a try and see if it's any better. One thing you can't tell from the photo is this Jelly Roll comes with a little padded "door" that swings back and forth to cover up the top of the opening, which I could see would be very helpful if carrying a smaller lens. However, for the full size Canon 70-200, you will need to detach the little padded door and put it aside, because that lens will need all the room it can get. All in all, a great product from Hazard 4.

Fits Nikon 70-300 with hood attached perfectly!
love this bag. I looked and looked. I ordered one with a cord closure, very hard to use. then I got this. It fits great and I can just get my fingers in to pull it out. Enough room to put extra foam around the lens if you want to. My lens with hood is 7&1/2 x 3&1/2. I placed the little divider thing in the bottom for additional padding. the only negative is that it doesn't have a rain bag. I am going to get some scotchgard spray. I always carry a poncho from the dollar store, anyway. I put it on my belt and use the black rapid strap. If you never used this kind of strap, it is to die for ,try it! it. The bag is nice on the belt because of the flat back. I also tried there slim version, it works but super tight. Would be better size if you are not going to use the hood. I use a hood on sunny days and I wanted to have it ready and not mess around.

Works great for me!
I got this to hold my homemade coffee can stove and Stanley cookpot. The 1lb coffee can stove fits inside very snug, and is even a little difficult to get out. but since that's not the intended purpose of this product, i can't fault it. It is very well constructed, and became a part of the back I mounted it on once the molle attachments were all in place.
