Great beginner camera with room to grow. Plenty good enough for professional work.
I bought the Canon EOS Rebel T7 with the 18–55mm IS II lens as my first step into “real” photography, and it has turned out to be a fantastic learning camera. The image quality is crisp and vibrant, and the colors come out looking clean without much editing. For an entry‑level DSLR, it delivers consistently good results, especially in well‑lit environments. The camera body is lightweight and comfortable to hold, and the layout of the buttons makes it easy to get familiar with the basics. One of the biggest advantages of the T7 is how approachable it is for beginners. The menus are simple, the automatic modes work well when you’re just starting out, and the camera gives you enough guidance to build confidence. But what really stands out is how helpful it is for learning manual mode. The T7 gives you full control over shutter speed, aperture, and ISO, and the feedback you get from experimenting is immediate and easy to understand. It’s a great camera for anyone who wants to move beyond auto settings and actually learn how exposure works. I’ve found myself improving quickly just by practicing with different lighting situations and seeing how each adjustment changes the final image. The included 18–55mm lens is a solid all‑purpose starter lens. It’s not fancy, but it’s versatile enough for portraits, landscapes, and everyday shooting. The built‑in image stabilization helps keep photos sharp, especially if you’re still getting used to holding a camera steady. Autofocus is generally reliable, though it can feel a bit slow when trying to capture fast‑moving subjects like pets or sports. Low‑light performance is decent for the price, but you’ll get the best results when you have good lighting or use a tripod. There are a few features I wish Canon had included, like a touchscreen, a flip‑out screen, and 4K video. These aren’t deal‑breakers, but they’re things you’ll notice if you’ve used more modern cameras or even higher‑end smartphones. Still, for the price, the T7 offers a lot of value and delivers quality that’s hard to match in this budget range. Overall, the Canon EOS Rebel T7 is a great choice for beginners, hobbyists, or anyone upgrading from a phone camera. It’s user‑friendly, dependable, and—most importantly—an excellent tool for learning the fundamentals of photography, especially manual mode. If you’re looking for a camera that will help you grow your skills without overwhelming you, this is a strong pick.

Good Canon kit
It's a Canon. It works. Battery life is great. I love taking pictures with it and have a lot of fun with it. The long zoom lens that this kit comes with is manual and if you are using it at long distances, be prepared to use a tripod. Zoom quality is good. I have not tested the Wifi connectivity. For the money, this is a good value.

Great picture quality and video's
The settings are fairly easy to set. The assorted lenses that came in the package are of great quality. I enjoy all the "bells & whistles" provided on this camera. This camera will take exceptional pictures and video. Gives choices to have pics in jpeg or raw, or both. Taking pics in both raw & jpeg will useful alot of chip space. Entry level or pro, a great camera.

Great value for a serious camera kit.
I urgently needed a new, quality camera to take on a Safari in Kenya. The entire refurbished camera and new kit was complete and available in 2 days. It worked out great and for the price of a single lense. I’m receiving a lot of complements on the photos “- just like National Geographic”. My only mistake was not figuring out the card backup/ storage. I accidentally erased 1/2 day of great photos. Spend sometime learning the backup routine and the settings you plan to use.

A fantastic buy on my new Camera and accessories
Super thrilled with this camera and all the accessories. the pictures I have taken have been great. I love the super zoom lens. This will help me with my wildlife pictures. I had priced out the camera with a small zoom lens but I was able to have to purchase this whole set for less than what I would have paide anywhereelse.
