Great portable Foosball game
Wow, who doesn’t like Foosball? I remember my kids playing it when they were young The Franklin Foosball Table is a table top game that is very portable and combines the speed and fun of Soccer Foosball. It is for ages 6 and up. The one I received claims to be made on June 20, 2016. you do have to put it together, which does take some time and patience. Then pick your color (black or blue) and you are ready to play. There are two soccer balls for play and a built in scoring table to manually track your scoring.

If I can put together Ikea furniture super easy, I feel like I should be able ...
i'm having trouble just putting the thing together - the plastic is so hard to screw into and I've injured finger trying. If I can put together Ikea furniture super easy, I feel like I should be able to put this stupid thing together. Spent an hour trying to put the screws in before giving up. not worth the money. at all.

Assembly Required, Sub par Construction
Foosball was a huge hit in college. Who doesn’t remember knocking back a few cold ones while trying to show your masterful skills at the foosball table? Now, Franklin Sports has a scaled down version of the popular game with its 20 inch Pro Kick Foosball set.Due to the smaller size of this set, I figured it would be good for my kids and when I received this package in the mail, I opened the box expecting the game to be fully assembled and ready to play. It wasn’t. You have to assemble by hand and from what I discovered, the assembly is not that easy. Worse, my set was missing a few important pieces so we were unable to complete the set up until I made a quick trip to a home supply store.Once assembled, we started to use the game, but we soon noticed that the handles do not move back and forth very smoothly and the screws do not hold very well. The construction of the game is not the best and I really think it would be better of the manufacturer changed things up by using better quality construction. Having it packaged ready to play would be nice, but I could tolerate a little bit of home assembly if the end product was sturdier and better designed.Franklin Pro Kick Foosball set is too small for adults. It’s really made for children and while I thought my kiddos would find it mildly entertaining, they grew frustrated with it very quickly. It’s an okay idea, but the overall quality and missing pieces convince me to lower my rating and not recommend.

May be ok for small kids but not much fun for adults
Franklin 20in Pro Kick Foosball ReviewThe game is a miniature version of a standard Foosball game and lacks much in terms of real-game action. It's not very expensive and might be fun for a small kids but is disappointing for an adult.Assembly: There are a number of pieces that need to be fastened together with very small screws. Securing the handles to the rods is no easy task; it's difficult to get the alignment correct so that the tiny screws fit into the holes in the rods. Attaching the ball catch was a challenge because the pre-holes weren't large enough and the screws were poorly machined. (The first picture shows what the screws look like that come with vs the ones it should have had. The second picture shows how the player can't reach the ball)Quality: Everything is plastic, with the exception of the rods, which seem to be fiberglass and the pitch board, which is laminated particle board. The players are a solid color blue or black plastic. The screws were poorly machined and difficult to screw into the plastic frame.Game Play: Each team has 2 rows of players, with 3 players each (6 players total), which is 5 fewer than in football/soccer or standard foosball (11 players). There is no goalkeeper, just a row of 3 players to defend the goal. There are certain places on the pitch in which no player can reach the ball.Fun: Not so much. The pitch is really too small and there are too few rows of players to feel much like real Foosball.

Tabletop Foosball
For a “tabletop” version of foosball, this one is kind of what one would expect from such an item. It’s okay for what it is. Nothing is ever going to match a full-size version, but for a bedroom / dorm room, it’s fun to pull-out from under a bed and play. Some assembly is required, and that’s usually not fun, and so it goes here. But once you get it put together, it works fine. At the current price of thirty bucks for Made in China plastic, it’s a bit expensive, but not crazy expensive.

Franklin Sports Foosball
Such a fun little game. Perfect for when you don't have room for a full sized table. This highly portable and easily storable version is really easy to put together and the materials are of very high quality. I anticipate this will last for a very long time. Just imagine the drinking games you could play with this. Or the fun you and your kids will have. It's a multi-faceted little game...

Junk, but fun while it lasts
This thing is cheap plastic and won't last long. Assembling it is a pain because the screw holes aren't drilled well, the screws are tiny, and sometimes just bad design (the grips on the ends of the rods are the first to go, since only about 1mm of the screw actually touches the rod). Once it's put together, it's a decent mini-foosball set-up. With only two handles per player it doesn't take nearly as much skill as a larger table, which is good for kids. It's not that i don't recommend this product, as it is pretty fun until it starts falling apart, but you should probably wait for it to go on sale.
