Mixed feelings
My requirements are: HKSV and no wiring. This fit the bill.I really was hoping to get the solar eufycam 3 but they do not have HomeKit compatibility. I bit the bullet and do not have any major regrets after a few months. I did get refurbished from Amazon to keep the cost lower. So the pros are mostly obvious in that these are battery powered and work with HomeKit. They are also easy to install and setup. Great field of vision and decent video quality. One covers my entire backyard and the second covers my garage alley. The second is a solid distance from my router and the base but has no connectivity issues. The battery life leaves a lot to be desired. HKSV is known to suck the battery quickly but i hoped I’d still be somewhat close to 6 months between charges. It was 3 months on the first full charge I gave them.Motion detection and recording are as reliable as any other HomeKit camera so no issues there. The base does have to be plugged directly into your router which I found somewhat annoying.

Needed to add more cameras
We already had the Pro-2, but needed two more cameras for this obsolete system. Was cheaper to buy a two camera system and discard the base station, than to buy just two used cameras.System runs great, glad we have it, easy to install... can view from all over the world!

Do not buy refurbished items
This is to call attention to the 3 month warranty on refurbished items. There is a big risk to purchasing a refurb item.First off I would like to say that I’ve bought 11 items from eufy of various security cameras - which I have gifted to my in-laws. My mother and several items for myself. I’d say they get high stars but since I haven’t battle tested them - I tend to save my reviews until I’m super unhappy or until I need a new one.The performance of eufy products is much better than the RING products I own (stick up cam/wired door bell/flood light) and the prices are much more competitive and there’s the local storage which was the biggest selling point. For this refurbished product.Battery life…. 0 Stars.3 month warranty on refurbished products. This particular product set (two eufy pro2c and station) lasted about 6 months maybe 7 (one of the cameras specifically. The other camera and station are working fine). I’ve been trying to charge and reconnect one of the cameras for a few weeks now not really paying attention since I took the camera down to recharge and needed to replace.Anyways. It never turned on after that. And just showed as disconnected in the app - so without it turning on - I couldn’t troubleshoot any further.Customer support said - sorry. No exchange granted. Refurbished has a 3 month warranty.I understand what I was getting into. But if your product only worked 3 months. You would be more disappointed than I am.I’ve bought a handful of refurb’d electronics in my life and they work fine and outlast the original warranty. My suggestion to Eufy is to lengthen the warranty for these re-furb’d itemsOtherwise good products over all.

Good Camera, Not So Good Battery
No matter how long I charge it - one of the cameras battery never gets to 100% charged. I mounted it anyway and I receive a decent picture. The problem is, when I checked to see if the firmware is up to date - tells me the battery requires charging. First couple of times, I took it down and attempted to charge the battery again - no luck but as stated, we’re receiving a great picture.

Hit or miss
I’m in the eufy echo system. We have a eufy vacuum, and doorbell cam. This 2 pack with home base was the natural expansion we needed to cover more of our house. I installed one camera in our backyard and have been super happy with it. It is activated fairly often when my kids are playing outside. Even still, I get between 3-4 months of battery life.I finally got around to installing the second camera in this 2-pack and it has done nothing but give me problems. Setup was easy, but this camera CONSTANTLY goes “offline.” Yes, yes…I did all of the troubleshooting…multiple times. It shows my Wi-Fi connection as “excellent” with all of the bars. I even moved my mesh access point closer…it’s 8’ away, and the camera still goes offline. I can hit “refresh” a million times and it won’t do anything. The only solution is to remove the device in the spp and re-sync it to the home base…which requires removing the camera from the outdoor mount and bringing it directly next to the home base. In the 3 days I’ve had this second camera up, it has only been properly functioned for a handful of hours while I have synced it 4 separate times. Disappointing, to say the least. It’s basically just a “dummy” camera at this point.UPDATE: the moment I “eat crow.” Despite having perfectly strong wi-fi signal, the issue with the camera is the proximity to the Eufy Home Base…not my Wi-Fi access points. What corrected my problem was putting the home base into Wi-Fi mode (easily through the app) and removing it from its direct-connect to my router. I moved it upstairs to a centralized location and now, all of my cameras work with a solid connection.
