GreenMin for Dogs - All Natural Mineral and Amino-Acid Rich superfood, up to 5 Months Supply

Just started giving this to my standard poodle and mini poodle to amp up the nutrition in their largely kibble-based diet. These dogs turn up their noses at everything, so I was shocked when I mixed it into their food and they gobbled it up! Turns the food green but smells vaguely sweet/pleasant.I know from personal experience with hypothyroidism that over-supplementing with iodine can cause serious issues. GreenMin is made from seaweed/algae... I don't know what the iodine content is, but I am going to be cautious with dosing since I'm also starting the dogs on ProDen Plaque Off, which is a brown algae supplement that improves their oral health. (I just adopted the mini and she has quite a lot of tartar from a previous poor diet.) However, I think I will alternate the GreenMin and the Plaque Off so they don't get TOO much seaweed/algae (iodine) in their diets and overload their thyroids. Just something to watch out for! Better to stick to the low end of the dosing range!

My dog has hypothyroidism and has to be on medication the rest of her life. She nearly lost all her coat, was shedding horribly and was itchy all the time. I wanted to give her something that would help her immune system so she can fight against any other issues that could occur due to the lack of hormone her body is no longer producing. I have been using for 6 mos now and truly believe this is healing my dog, who has digestive issues with inflammatory bowel disease and is also making her coat shine and shed less. She now has hair on her belly and on her ears (places she's never had hair) I am very pleased with this and have starting giving to my cat too. I have already purchased 2 more jars. I would recommend this to anyone who has dog or cat with issues, either coat, digestive or otherwise. It is primarily kelp which we know has amazing properties. I also give malatonin 3mg twice a day and this whole combination along with pumpkin, probiotics and fish oil have greatly improved her health.

I have 2 small dogs one that goes outside and wants to eat grass and the dirt in the back yard every day! The other smaller one has gas so I decided it was time to supplement their diet with something that will ease those issues. Ok so the first thing you will notice is the fishy smell which I hate but once you get beyond that you will def see results like IMMEDIATELY! personally I don't like putting this on their food but I make a little fish stew by adding the green mins and and a little water to their dry food together and stir it up so that they aren't just eating fish powder. At first I figured that there is no way they would like that at all so I stopped using it. Then one day I started thinking about the green min and I was thinking this might be a great food for my outdoor plants so I mixed a pitcher of water and a tablespoon of this and poured it into my plants let it soak that up and then watered them thoroughly. My plants went crazy! omg they LOVE this stuff so now I have plant food and dog supplements! My older dog smelled it in the planted pots and started digging at the dirt to eat it so I figured well that proves he loves the taste so that is when I went back to using it and making them a little fish stew. If it is doing even a portion of what it has done for the plants for them then I couldn't be happier, oh yes my dog doesn't eat the dirt anymore after I gave him this so the proof is in the bottle it works. YEAH!

I got a senior poodle of 13y. I discovered Greenmin through my dog nutritionist and is a wonderful addition to my dog raw food. She seem more energetic and playful! Great supplement!

This is amazing stuff. I received an old Chesapeake Bay Retriever with awful feeling fur. No one felt like petting the old boy. One month on GreenMin and he is looking way better, feels very nice and even smells better. This is an essential food for dogs with marginal health. I’m also giving him Omega 3 oil and a thyroid Med. I think this supplement is very helpful. The thyroid meds started working prior to GreenMin, but not until I gave him the GreenMin did I truly notice a big change. I highly recommend this product.

I purchased this product in the hopes that it would help with seasonal scratching and the paw licking of my two dogs. In addition to that I had hoped that it would give my female the minerals she needs to stop the constant search for poop to eat in our yard... I have noticed no change in that area which is upsetting and we haven’t had much success with the licking or scratching either. On the upside, they’ve seem to have a lot of energy and their coats are looking shiny and healthy. I don’t think I’ll purchase this again but, rather try one of the other products offered by the company.

This product is all natural and useful for my dog, gives her energy, I have 3 weeks with this product and I am very pleased, being natural for my dog. I mix it with her for food and she eats it with no problem. Product is a little pricey :) .

I have two fur kids, a 6 year old Maltese Yorkie mix and a 3 year old yorkie mix (possibly a Poodle or Lhasa Apsa) After doing some thorough research on Dr Dobia I decided to try this Green Min supplement added to my dogs homemade dog food diet. After a month I’ve noticed a HUGE difference in my pups behavior and appearance. My dogs typically would get worn out after a few games of fetch at the field nearby...now both of their running speed resembles Usain Bolt in a track field... in addition their fur appears shinier and brighter- which seems silly but I’ve even had neighbors comment on it. My dogs also do not mind this added to their food and they even spin in circles when they see me take the jar out! I believe this supplement has given my dogs so much energy and although it’s on the pricier side, it’s very evident you pay for what you get!
