I used the cooler for my new Latitude 7410 (which only has a single fan at back) because it got hot quickly. Its very quiet and maintains a good temperature of around 28*.

UPDATE: I added four small 3M wall hangers to prevent my very thin MacBook Air from sliding forward and sideways (which was the only problem I was having). The wall hangers work great! Photos added. Does exactly what it’s supposed to do and looks good. I use it to keep my MacBook Air cool when doing a lot of video editing that makes the processor work hard and warm up. This unit does a great job keeping the temperature down around 85 (Fahrenheit). Without it running, the MacBook Air will run 10 to 15 degrees warmer doing the same task. My only suggestion for improving it would be to add some sort of ridge near the front to prevent light weight laptops like mine from constantly sliding forward. But I don’t criticize them for leaving that out. One must remember that this unit is designed for universal use with any laptop, which necessarily means that it cannot be designed perfectly for any ONE class of laptops. Overall, I’m extremely happy with it and glad I bought it and I use it every day.

I have an 8 year old HP ENVY17 laptop. At the time, the GPU and memory were top of the line; but the knock was that it ran hot -- and it did and does. Of late it was getting to the point where it BIOS shut the laptop down a couple of times to protect it from overheating (100 degrees C on all four cores). I have always used a targus laptop cooling pad; but it was not cutting the mustard. So I selected the Thermaltake A22 and the difference is just short of amazing. The fans are orders of effect better at moving air, just as quiet (or noisey depending on your sensitivity to such), the aluminum seems to make a huge difference is cooling the computer. I seldom gush over products -- but this is worth the price and I hope it will extend the life of your laptop in the way I trust it wll extend mine.
