Arrived in Good Shape!
'Received the two little trees 3 1/2 days after I placed the order. The arrived in great shape, with lots of roots and leaves. One is 10" and the other one is 8 1/2" tall. I planted them right away. If they do not survive, I guess it is on me. Anyway, I am looking forward to the coming months to see how they do. So far, I am happy with the purchase...Update: May 3, 2017. The little trees are still doing very well! They have not lost their leaves and now have new growth! I know this will be a slow process, but I am really looking forward the seeing them grow. Still a five-star review...Update: June 6, 2017. The trees have new growth and are getting taller. The one thing that I was not expecting is that now the leaves are turning green, but that could be a result of the weather, as it is getting really hot in my area. I expect them to turn back to the beautiful original color as soon as it gets cooler in the Fall.

Rip off.
Compare the picture in the advertisement to what I actually got. Complete rip off. They make a big deal about these not being seeds but actual trees. They are tiny twigs with a couple of leaves on them. They are grafted, so who knows what the root is? Their shipping system of using a single stick to protect them doesn't work because the stick just goes through the bottom of the pot. One of the "trees" came broken off. They all look sick, in poor health. Complete bait and switch rip off.

Very pleased!
I took a long time deciding to buy this or not. Based on the reviews I was concerned but at the same time realized the Princess is a rare offering, at the low Amazon price. Have to tell you, I am delighted with the plant. It arrived in good condition. I planted it in a container and will probably keep it in a container. Think to take the tree and immediately put it into the ground is a big mistake, and probably contributes to some of the failures and poor reviews. Too delicate for immediately planting in ground. In the container new growth has begun and it seems very content and happy. It needs sheltering and protection from wind and too much sun. Happy to oblige the plant because I believe she will be a beautiful specimen.

Dead after a few months but I can't really say it is not our fault.
I tried to convince my wife not to try it since most plants die under our care. Unfortunately, this one is no exception. But I could tell this one should have a chance if you have green thumb.

I honestly have no experience with anything like this - but the point at which it was ...
UPDATE: here is my tree 4 years later. It’s realllly short, but is pretty and has a nice shape to it. It does not get bright red like In the pictures. I’m happy with it based on the price and the price of other choices at the time which were much more expensive.Original review:Received my tree in the mail today, and it is much bigger than I had expected. The tree it is graphted too is over a foot tall, so I am a little concerned that it is adding a lot of extra height that I am not looking for. I also wonder the age of this tree. I honestly have no experience with anything like this - but the point at which it was graphted looks "freshly glued"? Perhaps it is supposed to look this way? The plant itself looks extremely healhty, and I look forward to seeing how it holds up.

Poor dead
Tree arrived dead and only a branch the main part looked like it died long ago and had been cut off so the tree wouldn't grow right if it were alive
