Very good thermos. I have been using Zojirushi brand for decades and that's why I bought.Your tea made with milk at 7am will remain solid hot.. hot and fresh for 5 to 6 hours if the first serving takes place at around 1200 noon time.I take my tea with milk (Kadak Chai) to office which is prepared at 7.30am, I take my first tea by 8.30am which is solid hot, then my 2nd cup comes at about 11am which is again very hot to take, my 3rd cup of tea I drink at about 2.30pm which is not that hot but ok like lukewarm.

I am so obsessed with it. Keep piping hot and ice cold water for 12 hours and can confirm... your drink will be warm after 24 hours ..it’s just perfect in many ways! I know is pricey and that’s for people who are responsible and would not lost it but it is worth to have it. Perfect

I have several of these mugs in different sizes and styles, the ones I had previously purchased are great. Bought this one for new lining and wanted the steel look.. the lid on this style takes a few tries to get it to seat properly so it doesn’t leak when you drink from it. More importantly after less than two months use the lid catch broke. The plastic that holds catch bar in place cracked and lock and spring came off. I am not rough with these and only use at home. Given the price and other mugs I was really annoyed. Wrote Amazon customer service about where to go to get replacement lid and they were fantastic. They are replacing whole thing as good will gesture. Wow! The other model lids don’t fit so be gentle with this style or purchase and older design. This company makes mugs that keep beverages warm so that is why I stick with the product line. Maybe it was defective to start, it is hand washed and has never been dropped.September 2020 update. Product has broken again same as last time, used website provided by Amazon to contact company and 3 weeks later still no response. Other mugs from company work fine no breaks but not this one, tick to older lines

本製品SM-TA60（以降TAと記す）と先代までのSM-S*60（*はA、C、Dの3世代あるが基本的にどれも一緒。以降S*系と記す）との比較です。全長も、ボトル本体・キャップユニットそれぞれも、TAの方が長いです。太さは、TAの方がほんのわずかに太いです。キラキラした塗装の仕上げはSM-SDのシルキーブラックをやや控えめにした感じです。TAは3色ともこの感じです。以下、スライドロックを解除して蓋を開け、飲んで閉じる、という一連の動作における比較です。・TAのスライドロックはS*系に比べ、指を入れるには高さ・深さが足りず、ロック⇔解除ともちょっとスライドさせ辛い。私の指ではそのように感じたが、子供や女性なら問題無さそう。・オープンボタンを押し、蓋が一瞬止まって水滴を払う所までは同じ。そのあとの挙動が異なり、S*系はボタン操作で蓋が開いたあと、さらに手で押し開けて固定していたが、TAはボタン操作で蓋が一気に固定位置まで開く。つまりばねの勢いが強い。※これは個体差があり、S*系でも蓋が一気に開き切るものもある。またボトル本体の持ち方でも変わることがある。・飲み口に口を持って行くと、TAではオープンボタンが下唇によく当たる（ボタンが上に長いため）。これは同社のSM-K*系と同様である。・蓋のヒンジ位置を4mm後方にずらした効果は多少ありそう。パッキンが若干鼻に当たりにくくなった気がする。・ボトル開口部のエッジは丸みを帯びたので、そのままここに唇を当てて飲むこともできる。このため、直飲みタイプ（SM-NA）とのキャップユニット相互交換が実現したようだ。また、副次的な効果として洗うとき指に優しくなった。・蓋を閉じる感触は差異を感じない。強めに押してパチッと明確に閉まる。最後に保冷ですが、S*系同様、冷たさを長時間キープしてくれます。保温はいずれ...。以上、新製品ということで購入しましたが、改善されるべき点は改善されているようです。ただ上記のように、主観ではありますが旧モデルの方が優れていると感じた点もあるので、次期モデルでは改善を望みます。
