This site make you believe that the lens cap that they sell fits on the lens as the original cap lens cap would, but what I got was a cheap quarter size plastic lens cap attached to a string. They lied

Cap is not secure and falls off lens continually. Tension or spring effect to secure to lens is too weak. I would return but I don't think a replacement would be any better.

Don't use this camera anymore

It's a good lens cap cover and works well. It's a little thicker than the original one that comes with the camera, but it works well. It's a very good replacement.

this fit my camera perfectly, my old one had split into pcs.I feel this is very well made. thanks

This does not fit the lens of the coolpix p900. It's way to small, not sure why they said it was for the p900.

Very similar to the original, fits perfectly. Only downside is that it doesn't say "Nikon" on the front - not a real problem :)..
