I have used these nails for years. They are long enough to go through the holes in the track ties and through the cork road bed and dig into the plywood table to give stability to the track. I use a small square metal hammer to nail them in and when I have to remove them, a needle nose pliers easily removes them. I use track and rail bed made by the manufacturer of these nails. Not sure why others think these nails are not long enough. They also work with the track/plastic-road-bed made by other manufacturers. These are my go-to nails for my HO train hobby.

Not all the nails have clean points but good enough for my model railroad layout .

Handy to have

Used to hold HO gauge flex track to 1/4 hardboard table. Perfect size. Lays perfectly. Hardly see them. No failures! I used needle nose pliers & small hammer. Went great. Actually enjoyed laying the track down lol. Ty
