These acoustic tiles are perfect for the job they are intended for, but you need to follow a few simple guidelines (1) These are acoustic panels, they aren't soundproofing. They are intended to deaden noise (like carpet does) In my case I have used them in a small sound booth where they work as described. (2) Follow the instructions to get them to regain their full size. This means soaking them in water, wringing them out and tumble drying them. Doing this they will transform! People who say otherwise are either daft or perhaps selling a rival product? (3) Sticking to the wall... I got there by frustrating trial and error, but in the end I used Elmer's Spray Adhesive (one 14oz can was more than enough for 24 panels, order less than you think you need rather than more, as you can't return it!) and you need to spray both the wall AND the tiles and leave about 30 seconds after application before you stick the two together If you do all of that you'll be happy!

I will not say its stopped 100% sound but reduced lot of noise. I feel a lot comfortable after it. Dont forget to seal the door with thin door blocker tapes. The lower part can be blocked with door dust blockers. Now I can sleep/ work properly in my room

As mentioned in many reviews, they are shipped out to you Paper thin, and they say to soak in water to make it form I scoffed at this. It was so unbelievably flat that i didn't think soaking it would make a difference...BUT IT DID After running these under the sink for 30 seconds and wringing it out, it completely formed to look exactly as it does in the photo! I only bought these to use as "fake Beetlejuice graveyard grass" (if you know the movie well, you know) in my beetlejuice Halloween decor...so im not sure how well they work with noise absorption...but they LOOK perfect and im sure they work fine enough for the price

Son excelentes y te voy a decir de la manera más objetiva posible la forma de descomprimir las mismas porque veo muchas opiniones dividas. Muchos dicen que no recomiendan mojarlas.. Otros que si... Y la respuesta clave es que esto depende ENTERAMENTE del clima donde te encuentres... Si te encuentras en un lugar con clima cálido de arriba de 20 grados en promedio... Es altamente probable que con dejarlas unas 24-48 horas por si solas expandirá sin problemas.... Sin embargo, si te encuentras en un lugar con clima más bien frío... Es muy probable que aún habiendo dejado ese tiempo que expandan, estas no lo harán.. Por lo que en este caso... Sí se recomienda mojarlas y sobre todo.. Si las vas a mojar... Hazlo con agua tibia más bien tirando a caliente... Verás y notarás la magia con mojarlas y luego deja que sequen bien... Ya sea que las pongas en la secadora o al sol a que haga su trabajo... OJO... Si las mojas, sé delicado al exprimirlas para que no se dañen. La espuma es de una gran calidad y del grueso señalado... Ampliamente recomendada.
