The product is well built. The hinges work great but if you add many devices the weight of the devices shift the rack a bit and needs to be lifted to fully close and lock the latches.There are no holes on the frame only the large center that is flush on the wall. So if you have to run wires, they'd come out of the wall and into the rack, otherwise you'd have to drill holes on the sides of the frame.

Very sturdy, I mounted it on my basement’s concrete block wall. The hinges so far have been strong enough to support the weight of my equipment. Very happy with the product.

Awesome, durable, sturdy and well manufactured product. The hinge holds up to the weight of heavy audio & video components showing no sign of a sag or sticky door. Easy to install and looks great! Clean piece!

This was the third wall mount rack I have installed in the last two years, I will never use a another one again. This thing feels super solid. I was pleasantly surprised by how heavy duty the hinge is. This thing has no problem holding whatever you can put in it. It is the first wall mount rack I feel perfectly safe mounting a small UPS in.Be prepared for the size. If a small footprint is important to your application it may not work.

Also nice that those mounting holes you can see in the picture are on 16" centers for mounting to studs.Great quality, but I wish the holes were tapped instead of using captive nuts. One star off for those nuts.Mine arrived battered by the shipping process, missing the screws and bolts, and a week late, and I had ordered an alternative, so I returned it.I would buy one again in a second for a similar use.

This thing is solid. Built to last. Very happy with this. Currently housing two 52 port Cisco POE switches and two 48 port patch panels along with the modem, router/firewall, rack 2U shelf, Cyberlink rack power-strip and still a little room to spare.

only wish screw holes for ears did not require nuts.This is a solid rack that I'm using to hold two Nikes amps weighing 84 lbs.love the access because it swings.How do people spend 2-4x this for a rack?

I believe the rack is 5 stars itself as it’s beefy and very solid. I haven’t mounted it but it should look nice. Sadly it came out of the box with scuffs & scratches. In addition the bag of screws and nuts was torn and they were loose all over the box with some escaping the box in transit. As a result I was shorted a few nuts and screws but I’ll move on.
