Serves its purpose
This is more like a jeweler’s loupe than anything else. If you are expecting something that works like binoculars you will be disappointed. You have to hold the scope right up against what you are looking at or you won’t get focus. Once you are very close to the object move slightly closer or further away to focus. Of course your eye has to be right against the other end of the scope with the other eye closed. If you use it correctly it works fine. I have used it to examine many types of rocks and minerals and some of the views are breathtaking. The black light will start to go dim when the battery is low. The white leds will still appear to be fine. However if the black light starts going dim it’s time to replace the battery. Also, always check to make sure that you have turned off the lights when finished. It’s easy to accidentally turn the black light on when turning the white light off, and if you are in a room with other light then you won’t notice the black light is on unless you look right at it.

Great value they work fine
For the price you can't beat them. I just check plants and this is small and easy to use.

I can't read
I didn't expect much from this microscope, I like multitools and small portable gadgets like this so that is one reason why I wanted this microscope. Pros: The seller actually gave me 2 of these when I only expected oneThe led's are extremely brightImage (when in focus) is very clearComes in nice little leather caseCons: Not the best quality materialsSmaller than I thought it would beA bit too expensive for the sizeNoticable manufaturing errorsAnd the big one, no second focusing lens. You cant see what you want to see when you are at full zoom, you have to keep what your looking at very close to the lens. It helps to take the plastic guard off.Overall, this is a fun little object and has it's fair share of uses, you do get what you pay for here I suppose. But I think I will buy something that lets me see cells sometime soon.

IT SEEMS TO WORK OK BUT NOT TO GOOD FOR ME IT LOOKS ALOT BIGGER ON THE ADD ITS IS REAlly small making it next to impossible to get sighted in and being so small its hard not to shake wheb=n trying to virew if it was larger it woud be a great product just way to tiny to be of real use

LOVE these little pocket scopes
I just love these little pocket microscopes! Shipping is rather slow. I made the mistake of pulling mine out to look at a tiny bug on the dog (wanted to make sure it wasn't one of those tiny ticks) in front of my sister, she took it and wouldn't give it back. It kept her entertained all weekend. So I bought three more! Very powerful and easy to use and you can carry it around with you. It is amazing to look at stuff you can't see with the naked eye. Highly recommend for anyone on your gift list.

just ok,,,,maybe a cool factor for sum
updste,,I gave this a bad review and it really is a piece of junk,,,very toyish,,,,but I'll say it does work,,,,a bit,,kind of hard to use because it's so small,,but the little led light s on it made me up the review,,as it has clear and a bluish black lite that is kind of cool to look at your flowers with,,I don't know it just gives it a cool hue to the flowers,,,,,,,or other things you may be looking at so yea,,,,I think it was 7 or 8 bucks,,,,,I've spent my money in worse ways,,,,,just hate sending usa money to China and getting landfill material back as product,,,,,,,cheaply made junk that fills the landfill with toxic garbage

Great on currency, 3D objects not so much.
Despite being advertised for flora and insects this is actually a currency microscope and claims such right on the package. That means it's fine for flat objects, not dimensional ones. The lens has extreme barrelling at the edges and the led is actually a bit too bright. It's still a good value for the money, but not a replacement for my old Radio Shack keychain microscooe as I had hoped. The telescoping lens is entirely manual and may be difficult to adjust. Leaving it fully pushed in seems to be the way to go. If you are looking for a scope for bugs or buds this will likely be unsatisfactory.

Open the battery cap???
It indicates twist in either direction, but it won't twist!! It's locked in place.

Don’t think I’ll use this like I wanted to
Way smaller than I imagined. Came with dead batteries. Hard to use. Magnifies a bit better than a magnifying glass but real small area to look into
