If the appearance of your original thermostat looks similar with ours item and they have the same terminals, you could buy one to try, there is a high probability that they are compatible.

how do you install the sensor tube?

The sensor tube needs to be carefully opened and bent to suit the freezer thermostat installation. In my case, the tube had to be secured to a metal block that is attached to the cooling coil inside the freezer. Unfortunately, this thermostat did not work in my freezer as it was not an OEM spec. So I had to return it
