The Best If You Love Ginger
I was introduced to Plant Therapy by a friend who uses this brand often and recommended the Ginger Root. She said be careful because you only need one drop in the oil diffuser. I did not listen....WOW!!! I could not stay in the room it was that strong. I find with some essential oils I have to add up to 10 drops to smell the fragrance, not with this product. One drop is all you need, it is very potent. It is very calming, soothing and relaxing. If you are looking for authentic ginger fragrance look no further. Overall, I am very pleased with the product and will only buy ginger fragrance from Plant Therapy. Thank you!

I have no doubt about the legitimacy of this oil. Great for pain.
I recently got my hands on the Plant Therapy Ginger Root CO2 Essential Oil, and I have to say, it's an absolute powerhouse! I usually love Plant Therapy products - and this one is no exception, it's undeniably potent, making it perfect for massages and therapeutic purposes. The scent of this oil is strong and distinctive, which I personally love. It's like a cozy embrace for my muscles and joints.

As advertised, pure oil, helps my nausea, & smells great!
I have perpetual Nausea due to being a Diabetic, & from Gastroparesis. I take prescription Medication for them both. But, at some point, that is not feasible, not to mention that I would have to wake up every 4/hrs to keep the Level of Medication up enough not to wake up severely nauseous, & having to go to work. I know the extremely effective use of Essential Oils, in a variety of ways. I researched what might help. Regardless of what was suggested, in every place I researched, Ginger was always the first oil listed. I decided to try, bc @ this point, no further medical suggestions were working. I then did research, on the different Ginger Essential Oils, & truthfully I basically picked one of the top rated ones. This was a little higher rated in Reviews. Ordered it, soon as I received I couldn’t even wait until I was ready for bed. Took my Medication, & thought “not sure”. I knew not to expect too much as it was the first night, after all. But, in the Morning, I realized I didn’t feel as bad. I knew I could possibly be “talking myself into feeling a difference. That night, woke up the same, & each & every morning after. So, just to make sure, didn’t diffuse it one Friday Night (didn’t want to have to go work, just in case). And, I woke up Saturday Morning, barely able to move around. My nausea can be quite debilitating. Got my Diffuser, my Ginger, & Water. Put it as close to me as safely instructed. Not, only did it start working quite quickly, I was able to go back to sleep. With the Medication, it would have taken all day, & forget sleeping. Obviously, everyone is different, & everyone has different outcomes. I would just suggest, if you are like I was, with a “I tried everything else, might as try this”, then I highly recommend trying this. If you are new to oils, then please be aware that there are a lot of oils out there, with a lot of promises. Do your Homework, find out what the actual ingredients are. If it is anything other than just the oil, don’t spend your money. Find out what part of the Plant it comes from, how it is pressed, where it comes from, etc. Once you understand why all this is important, you will understand exactly why Essential Oils are so beneficial.

Just like fresh ginger
This C02 extraction of ginger root is lovely. It smells exactly like freshly cut ginger root! Because only small molecules make it through the steam distillation process, steam distilled ginger is generally described as smelling like dirt. The shogaols and gingerols which give the ginger it's characteristic warmth and spiciness do come through on the C02 extraction method. This makes this ginger slightly "hotter" than a steam distilled ginger but that much lovelier. To stay on the cautious side I would probably keep this at lower dilution for topical application. I have had success with this oil at 1% dilution for pain or nausea. This oil is also spectacular to diffuse. Emotionally it is warm and uplifting. If you have tried steam distilled ginger before and been disappointed try this C02....after experiencing this I will never purchase a steam distilled ginger.

Good, but dislike the smell
I normally like the smell of ginger, but for some reason I don't like the smell of this extract. However I got it for aromatherapy purposes (for help w/ nausea and headaches) and not for the smell, and so far has worked nicely for that!

Happy with this EO
I wanted was looking for help with inflammation and pain. This is great smelling and mixes well, although it does drop out very slowly. I recommend this as well as many other Plant Therapy EO

Pleasing, well-balanced ginger scent
I love the smell of ginger root, and it is surprisingly hard to find ginger scented body products that are made from natural ingredients, so I am looking into formulating my own. This essential oil has a good, rounded aroma -- not too sharp, not too sweet. It comes as close to the smell of the real thing as any essential oil I've sampled so far, and the price was reasonable. It will be wonderful in hand lotion and shampoo. Amazon quickly shipped this bottle wrapped well in bubble wrap, and it also had its own plastic seal around the cap. I am pleased with the excellent care taken to ensure no leakage occurred. I would certainly order from this company again: it merely remains to be seen over time how well the oil lasts.

Meh
Not crazy about the smell. Doesn’t smell fresh like when you cut open a fresh piece of ginger, which is what I was hoping for.
