Scripting the Life You Want: Manifest Your Dreams with Just Pen and Paper Paperback – Illustrated, 14 May 2020

I bought this book thinking it was a scripting journal so i was shocked to realise i had bought a scripting ‘manual’ so to speak. However i wasn’t disappointed. This book taught me the process of scripting on a different level. I’m a writer but until now i hated scripting, partly because it felt pointless and it was really monotonous and boring, but this book goes into the why!! And it made me make sense of a lot i previously hadn’t understood. Thank you

I'm a 100 pages in and I can agree the book is a lot of waffling. The meat and bones of the method would probably take 20 pages to describe so the author has put his whole life story in the mix to bulk it up. Even then the life story is written as if a series of free flow journal entries that weren't revised and upgraded enough before publication.It can be confusing with the constant date-hopping as he tries to explain what day he wrote what and what day he saw it come into fruition, especially when he would write a list in the morning, a journal entry at night, an entry from the POV of two weeks ahead of time looking back and doing this every 7 days. Its not the neatest chunk of text to get through.But I have almost 170 pages left so I'm sure he will put it down plainly eventually. I have been skipping pages however as a lot of its not useful to why you picked up the book.However, I am a bit startled at another reviewer suggesting this Scripting method is just Wiccan shadow magic and rune magic?As I mentioned in the book he writes a list of what he wants, a regular journal entry of his day, and then a similar journal entry from the perspective of someone who has achieved what he wanted to in the past 2 weeks. Witchcraft? Magic? I haven't seen a rune or occulty symbolism just yet...Although I definitely don't ascribe to the fact that you are the Director of your own life as that is God, but I do like what he says in the beginning about selecting events from a field of infinitude that already exists and not just create it out of nothing. Ill see if my perspective on the occulty claims change by the end...

It's very poorly written sadly. The writter had Good intentions I'm sure, but the language and content of the book is really poor. :/
