Good heavy duty router bit
I bought this router to do some fairly heavy duty shaping of 2" thick cedar material for a pergola. I routed many surface feet of cedar and it still has a good sharp edge and cuts well. With a template I made I was able to reproduce nice even consistent cuts. I was skeptical that the edge would hold up to the cedar and the long deep cuts I needed to make, but not problem. Very happy with the bit.

Works perfect when used right
To all the people who said it chatters. You're trying to "hog off" too much material. When I used mine, I used the template as a pattern, traced it, then removed most of the material with a jig saw (within 1/4" of my line). Then clamp the template down and run the router. Worked great. I'm building a large pergola. The ends of all the beams, rafters & Perkins have a nice curving detail. Both ends of 60 boards and not a single chatter. I love it.

Great, Quality Router Bit
This is one of the best router bits I have purchased. Works really well with hard woods. Great for the price and will be ordering again.

Very satisfied, will buy no other
1) Very sharp and polished, easy to clean, won't vibrate nor accumulate dirt.2) Comes with two bearings and a metal retainer, everything is removable and replaceable.3) The downshear is good, the shavings are pushed down, and won't get in the way4) The geometry and good workmanship make for a very realiable wood toolRecommended for big routers (3Hp) as it is big 3/4inch and deep (2 inch).

Down spiral makes a difference
Used on plywood to cut a 6” circle. No chipping at the top edge. Cut a beautiful circle.

Great tool, sharp and well-made
Great tool, sharp and well-made. To echo a few other reviews, if you're getting chatter or chipping the blades then you're trying to take off too much material all at once.
