PMMA IS LIGH T BUT STRONG
I love this pen. My two favorite pens to write with are the sailor full 21k h-mf and the pilot custom 823 14kf. I would have to say that if I had to choose I would go with my 823 and that would only be because of the ink capacity. Which, also happens to be my one complaint with my sailor. Also I wanted to mention that sailor along with pilot use a plastic called PMMA which happens to be light but very strong. A 2ft by 2ft by 3/8 piece will stop a 45 round at 10ft. Cellulose and other materials are pretty and great for collectors. BUT I use my pens every day and all of them have been dropped, some have been dropped severa l times. No cracks or damage. On. PMMA is basically Plexiglas or sometime called lexane.

Not a montblanc.
Reviews say it's like the montblanc... It most definitely is not.
