Great Book For Residency!
I'm reading this book in preparation for my surgical intern year, starting this July. Though I haven't started residency yet, I have to say that this book is just what I was looking for. It has case-based scenarios that reinforce concepts that all interns should know. The authors present the information in a very understandable, easy to read way. From a great way to think about the differential for abdominal pain, to how to replete electrolytes and great tips on when to call an upper level, it's full of great info. I love this book! I highly recommend you read it during 4th year of med school or intern year.

Good cases would buy again
This is a good book. All of the cases are relavent and well written. It seemed like a new edition hadn't been published for a while but it is still great.

Helpful review
Seems to be a helpful review of some basic topics one will have to handle as an intern. Addresses many of the common calls and consults that every intern should have at least a basic understanding of on day one of internship. Worth a read spring of your fourth year of medical school.

Great Resource!
I would recommend this book for all 4th year Medical students going into surgery. It's an easy read and it can only improve on what you have learned as a 3rd year.
