MANIC PANIC Old Glory - Ultra Violet Hair Dye

I used this more like a tint by mixing it with white conditioner. Left it in for 2 hours and it was still very bright. If you want it more light, you will need to leave it on for an hour or add more conditioner. It will fade with every wash. If you use it straight up from the pack unmixed, it will be more potent. Be warnex though, if you have porous dry hair this will deposit a lot of pigment in your hair and it will last longer. I wouldn't remove it with bleach as this can mess up your hair if you don't know what you are doing. Overall, its a great color from Manic Panic. Delivery was very fast (1 day). Very pleased.

Didn’t dye at all, literally no pigment was left which is weird cuase the other colors work fine it’s just this one that seems to not wanna work.

Good use and good delivery

smaller than i thought and it stained so make sure you use vaseline. the color stayed for 10 washes and faded to a lighter pink. keep in mind that the hair should be lightened before applying the color. i have curly hair and it didn’t damage or ruin my curls.

Color wise it did exactly what I expected, which is pink highlights. My hair has 3 shades of blonde. My original color is dark ash blonde, I also got older beige blonde highlights, and new white highlights. My white highlights picked up the color perfectly, they are now pastel cotton candy pink. My beige blonde bits got a pastel rose gold tint, and my dark blonde hair didn't pick up the color at all. I did leave it on for an hour, and I only used 1 small jar for my hair, which is mid-back lenght. If I had a fully bleached hair I would have probably used two jars. Unfortunately my face got a pretty bad allergic reaction from this product, even though it only touched my face when I was washing it off in the shower....so that's a bummer. On a positive note, when I was washing the product off barely any pink washed out, so it didn't mess up the shower.

It works really well! Got the shade of gray I was looking to achieve! Was enough for a full head of extensions!

I have thick black, curly hair, so I wasn’t sure which company would make the best dye suitable for me, especially since blue isn’t an easy color to achieve on black hair. But this product was very good, the blue does turn into green after a while but it stayed a good 5 weeks or so, I’d recommend if your hair sounds similar to mine but make sure to get strong bleach to go along with it

Alors pour commencer, c'est un rouge qui part un tout petit peu vers le rose ! -Personnellement je l'ai fait au dessus de mon ancien rouge et c'est une tuerie. J'a lu certains commentaires et apparemment certaines personnes auraient les cheveux secs après la colo. Honnêtement, je trouve mes cheveux plus doux et beaux, peut-être que vous avez mal fait votre colo car ce n'est pas comme d'habitude. Je vais vous expliquer : -Lavez vous les cheveux avant de faire la colo et si possible avec un shampooing préparateur de couleur puis sans après shampooing. -Ensuite attendez que vos cheveux sèches (ou sécher au sèche cheveux) poser la couleur sur les racines (Eviter le crâne, j'me retrouve avec du rouge sur tout le dessus) puis sur la longueur. (D'ailleurs si vous avez les cheveux longs prenez deux pots car ils sont vrmt petits). -Laissez poser 30 min ou + (j'ai laissé deux heures car j'avais oubliée aha). Plus vous laissez poser, plus il y a d'intensité. -Puis rincer vos cheveux à l'eau froide (jusqu'à ce que l'eau soit clair) et sans shampooing bien sûr ! Si mon commentaire vous à aidez, liké !

très belle couleur, fonctionne super bien et encore plus sur les cheveux décolorés attention teinte énormément la peau également et même pendant le rinçage (coulure sur le visage)

It lasts a very very long time. Love it. Non damaging. Easy application. Just follow the directions. Don’t complain about the color on things because I just warned you. It’ll stain a bit but it doesn’t last long. Just don’t over apply if you have shorter hair. Use just as much to paint it. No more no less. If it’s much manic panic has a shampoo to cleanse. It helps. Just so you know. I’m not a paid spokesperson lol just a fan. It’ll stain. Especially if you over color. Read the other reviews too. They got it right.

I did my mohawk pink and blue, and the shaved sides are this purple. I like this purple; it's a nice "purply" purple. Despite the name 'ultra violet' it doesn't glow under a black light; it's just a pun. I find that I usually need to re-shave the sides before the purple has washed out. So it's good for at least a month. Make sure to use a shampoo and conditioner for colored hair!

I asked it on heavily bleached hair and not a single share of purple is visible. Never trying it again. I really had high hopes because I've used it's blue box . Today blue also stained everything but atleast it coloured my hair. This purple bottle did absolutely nothing!!!!!
