Does the job!
I don’t mind saying it. I am not a very handy person, so the first thing I think of when I need to do a job around the house, is to hire someone to do it. However, when I heard from an HVAC technician how much it would cost just to clear a condensate drain line clog, I knew that I had to figure out how to do it myself.I learned that there are several ways to clear a clog but when looking for products, this was the one and only device that stood out to me that actually looked like it could really work!So i soent the money expecting the item to come in two days. Nope just one day. Had my morning coffee and bam I hear Alexa tell me the product had arrived. Heck yeah!Easy to use. Instructions hardly necessary because it was already put together for you and it was just self explanatory. It worked so well. So much gunk came out of the dispensing end and it saved me a lot of money.Highly recommend!

Very powerful pump for clearing aircon condensate drain pipe
This pump definitely works as designed. It generates strong pressure spikes to dislodge clogs and stagnent water in your drain pipe. It moves a LARGE VOLUME of water, and can work in both directions (ie you can pump air into the drain, helpful to further dislodge clogs).Compared against a wetvac, it requires more manual work, is not that much cheaper, it probably just as effective. Get a wetvac if you have space at home, get this if you're short on storage.Would have given it a 5-stars, but it came with a small crack on one of the hoses so -1 star.

Well worth it. Great product
I don’t usually write reviews but I think people should be aware of this product. We have 4 hvac/ptac units in our home. Each year or two we need to have the drain pipes pumped clear. To pay for the service is more than $500 a time. With this hand pump you can do it yourself very easily. Well worth it…

This Thing Really Works!!!
Over the years I've probably bought more than 100 items from Amazon, and this is the first time that i feel compelled to leave a review for an item. I live in central Florida and have been experiencing an AC drain line blockage in a condo that i own. The condo is two stories and the air handler is on the second story toward the front of the condo. The drain line outlet and outside AC unit are downstairs and toward the back of the unit. So the drain is line is realistically about 40' in length. A couple of days ago the AC unit shut off because the pressure switch that senses drain line problems shut it off. I spent hours with a 3 hp shop vac sucking on the drain line and pouring hot tap water down the line with absolutely no success. I finally was getting ready to call a professional. I started googling for solutions and finally came across this product. I thought to myself "what the heck, for $70 bucks I'll give it a shot. If it doesn't work i'm already out a couple hundred to hire someone". I ordered from Amazon with the 2-day shipping and as usual Amazon came through and had me the pump in two days. I opened it up today and put it to the test. I have to admit that it took a little bit of work. I probably pumped this thing 20-30 times with no luck. I kept pumping (admittedly with a few breaks), and slowly i started seeing water coming out of the discharge hose. Then..... the blockage broke loose and all that nasty goo-ey, orange mush that builds up in these AC drain lines came out. I filled the AC line back up with hot tap water and pumped, flushing the line multiple times until i was actually getting warm water coming out of the pipe. A long story, i know, but i must say this thing actually works. It appears well constructed, and did exactly what is was supposed to do right out of the box. I would highly recommend buying one of these if you're at that point of thinking you need to hire a professional. I sincerely doubt you will regret it.

Works great
The pump did come with instructions but I wish it had more clear instructions on which end was to pump air in versus pull gunk out. I watched videos others posted and tried to follow them but my pump was the opposite. And if I did follow the instructions I would’ve done it correctly. Once I figured out that the blue rubber end goes onto the outside drain line everything went well. I did push water back up into the drain line trying to figure it out but it wasn’t that much of a mess to clean. I highly recommend this. I haven’t had to use it since the first time and it’s been over a month. My AC use to clog every month.
