This paint holds up over time. I painted my daughter's calipers front and back and they look great. The color pops and the paint is forgiving to heavy application. I followed the the clear coat which really brought out the shine. If you paint your calipers, do the brake pads too! I put it all together and with the unpainted brake pads it didn't look right. Pulled them and painted those as well and they look much better. Great paint. I bought 2 cans but could have done the job with one.

Product is as described by delivery schedule was messed up. Was promised refund as delivery was delayed and I already bought similar item from store to compete my project. Delivery turned up at night when I had already spent $$ to buy similar product.

I just finished spraying this product on my new rear rotors. Yes, rotors. All has been painted except for the part that actually makes contact with the pad. Since my wheels leave the brake area pretty exposed I didn't want my rotors looking like rust buckets like my current ones. I prepped the rotors with brake cleaner and some degreaser, Blue-taped the parts I didn't want painted, and then painted 24 hours later. I did one tack coat, three light coats, followed by a thicker coat for that nice finish. The paint didn't try to drip at all, there was no orange peel, and left a very nice shiny black coat. The final step was something I have never done with paint which was stick it in the oven for an hour. The instructions say its necessary so that's what I did. The family complained about the paint smell but not too badly. Make sure you turn on the venting system on your oven first :). Pro's: *Easy to apply *Pretty resistant to dripping. -Other high temp sprays I've tried in the past almost have the consistency of water. VHT is nice and thick! *Very nice glossy black finish *My search for the best brake paint product is now complete...assuming it holds up well over time. Cons: *Fairly strong odor when baking
