Q: What is the difference between these and the similar listing by the same manufacturer?

The only thing I can figure is, maybe, the smaller ones are to be used on kids. Either way, the product really works.

Q: Do you have to remove the patch before showering or swimming?

No. :) My girls and I kept them on while showering and swimming and they stayed on behind our ears. It says that you can put an additional one below your belly button if you need to...that may come off, but the one behind our ear stayed in place.
